trump’s speech to the Muslim world was filled with hypocrisy and condescension

I thought it was a good speech. Direct, to the point. No PC in it at all. Refreshing to hear a President actually tell it like it is and stick up for America for a change.

I saw this in your opening post, but am confused about which race you are referring to. Obviously, there needs to be race involved for there to be racism, so which race makes "radical Islamic extremist" racist? Also, are you defending radical Islamic extremists?
 
Trump has moved us into the 21st century in relationships with foreign leaders.
They know leadership when they see it.
Not afraid to mean what you say and say what you mean is a quality long removed from American leadership.
Trump offers hope not only to us but to them.

How long have you been posting here anyway? I've argued forever and a day that all Muslims aren't terrorists. It's the cons here who claim they are, and cherry pick verses of the Qur'an to try and support their viewpoints.

There's a difference between "Islamic" and "Islamist" and Muslims understand it even if Americans don't. Here is a good explanation: "The term Trump used, “Islamic,” means anything having to do with the religion of Islam. The term he was supposed to use, “Islamist,” refers to matters relating to the political project of reorganizing the state and society in accordance with the laws of Islam that can be deduced from Islamic texts. Put another way, “Islamic” is a bigger umbrella that signifies anything tied to the religion, while “Islamist” is a smaller umbrella that covers issues tied to political Islam."

You're new here so I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. I am not defending terrorism by any extremists of any religion under any pretext. I am criticizing trump and his followers for their ignorance and hatred toward Islam and, and also trump's specious argument that saying "radical Islamic terrorism" is going to have some magical significance in the fight against terrorism.
