Impeach Hillary Clinton Now -- It Can Be Done

KERRY JACKSON

9/02/2016

For some time we've wondered if voters have considered that, if elected, Hillary Clinton could begin her first day in office as the target of an investigation. It's certainly not out of the question. Almost a year ago, Rep. Mo Brooks, an Alabama Republican, indicated that impeachment would be on the agenda when she took office. If elected, he said, "she's subject to impeachment because she has committed high crimes and misdemeanors." But why wait? One person with inside knowledge of the Clinton circus says impeachment can begin now, even though she's no longer in office.
"One of the dirty little secrets in Washington is that Mrs. Clinton can be impeached now," Tom Fitton, president of Judicial Watch, told the British Daily Mail. "A federal official leaving office does not end congressional jurisdiction over impeachment for misconduct in that office."
If Clinton were "convicted by the Senate, the sanction could be ineligibility for future office," Fitton added.
Start the process now and save the country the heartache of another President Clinton being impeached while in office. It would also be wholly fitting to impeach her even after she served as president because, as the New York Post has reported, she "continued sending classified information even after leaving the State Department" on her personal email account.
The problem, of course, is politics. Clintons' political allies, among them a cheerleading media that would never publish...

Impeaching someone who has left office is not unprecedented. Secretary of War William Belknap was impeached in 1876 after he had resigned. According to Congress itself, "The Senate convened its trial in early April, with Belknap present, after agreeing that it retained impeachment jurisdiction over former government officials."

...

Just because Hillary Lost the Election, does NOT mean she did not commit crimes while in office, or as a Candidate.

Just because Obama's second term ended, does NOT mean he did not commit crimes while in office.

With all of the baseless, and crimeless calls, for Trump to be politically impeached and driven from office...

Shouldn't we consider holding the Dems two KNOWN Criminals accountable for their crimes?

And there really are CRIMES, with a known statuate to which they can clearly be charged!

There are known dates of offenses, regulations violated, LAWS ignored and/or Violated, and the Authority and Jusidiction in Congress to Impeach both Hillary and Obama for their crimes!

Not just inuendo, rumors and hatred.

Just some food for thought...

Is this going to be the new American political norm? Impeach our leaders at every turn?

impeaching them will do no good. Those of us who believe them guilty have already impeached them, those who adore them will never change that opinion.

If they impeach and remove Trump for nothing more than vague rumors and dislike...

What choice do you have?

Impeachment is the formal process of starting a Congressional Investigation, which then allows Congressional Jurisdiction Charges to be prosecuted!

In the case of BOTH Obama and Hillary, REAL CRIMES were known to be committed!

If Convicted by Congress, either or both go to Prison!

-

We have to many gutless rinos on our side to fight fire with fire.

This is of course what needs to be done.

If we had a congress and senate full of Trumps

we could stop all this bull **** and get things right.
It depends...

How many people, like Kusinich, seeing the Impeachment process become a Stalist political Gothcha tool, will decide that ALL of those guilty of CRIMES need to be honestly held accountable!

How many cross overs will occur, once this Impeach Trump madness really gets rolling?

How many will accept Political Fiat and Fascism from the Left, rather than deciding to start using the Impeachment Tool, to do what should have been done 2+ years ago, Hold Hillary, and Obama accountable for their KNOWN crimes!?

There is more than enough Criminal Law Breaking, Low-hanging-fruit to put Hillary away for the rest of her life.

Every POTUS is more lawless than the last, in my lifetime. I can support setting this to rights, hell yes.

They are both vulnerable to criminal charges, at least in theory. Open investigations. Get proof. Charge them.

Yanno, like we do criminals?

But no, don't abuse the whole political process of this country trying to impeach them. That is completely crazy-making, with no hope of success.

You cannot use a standard court or prosecuter to go after those holding high American Public Office. They are protected by a statuate that keeps frivolous Lawsuits from paralysing the government.

Which is WHY the Constitution provides the Congressional Process of Impeachment, Congressional Investigation, Prosecution, and Sentencing.

For the POTUS, SCOTUS Justices, Secretary of State, and a large number of other high offices, the COURT and Prosecuting Attornies for holding these office holders accountable to the law, is, by the Constitution, CONGRESS!

That is the Core of what Impeachement MEANS!

Well... unlike anything seen today from Trump.... Obama and Hillary both, BROKE THE LAW!!!!

then why didn't you fucks impeach them in between pretending to repeal Obama care like fifty times

because its all fucking lies and they did nothing illegal

why didn't you bring charges while you were dominating congress lying asshole

because there was no crime and no investigations into anything real

Freedom is not free.

I suspect it will take sacrifice to end the Far-Lefties power grab.

The establishment can be dealt with, over decades time, when the common American decides to just NEVER vote for any incumbent.

It will be a slow reform process... but once started, relentless.

Right now, the Establishment exists because most common Americans used to think, "Well, I'd like term limits, because of all the 20 year career politicians going corrupt... but MY Senator is okay"

Well, that last part, ".. but MY Senator is okay" was already evaporating with the election of Trump.

With the Establishment pulling a Coup against Trump... it will be GONE, GONE, GONE!

After Trump-Impeachement, the common voting American will just oust ALL encumbants, ALWAYS, probably for a century or more.

Hmm is there that many very low IQ voters even in the GOP for the above to made sense to them?

Is the concept of voting against all encumbents just too difficult for you to grasp?

The "Establishment" has made itself the enemy of the common man and their needs to survive.

Most of my fellow Working Class Americans seem to be "Getting It" just fine.

What I think we should do is stop rambling about impeachment and move on. Hillary will not be impeached. Obama will not be impeached. Both may commit a future criminal act, and should be dealt with if that happens. Trump will not be impeached. He has not committed an impeachable act. At least with what we know now. If he does commit an impeachable act, then that should be dealt with.

Agreed... WE should stop talking about it and get back to the needs of the Nation and its citizens.

Only:

Maxine Waters asks if Trump can be impeached by polling alone

.... So, it seems we won't stop talking about it.

Well, If we're going to keep talking about Impeaching Trump, I assure you, we're also going to greatly increase talking about impeaching Obama and Hillary!

Here is a very interesting post from another forum, by a poster I personally admire:

AlbqOwl said:
The role of Congress though is limited. The House impeaches; i.e. determines that there is sufficient cause to remove an official from office. The Senate then conducts the trial with a Justice of the Supreme Court acting as the judge. The Senate itself becomes the 'jury'. If after evidence and defense is presented, 2/3rds of the Senate must vote to remove the official from office. In the case of Bill Clinton, the special prosecutor offered strong evidence of perjury, obstruction of justice, witness-tampering, and abuse of power. The House impeached Clinton on perjury and obstructing justice.

While the Senate agreed Clinton was guilty, too few agreed that the crimes rose to the standard of high crimes and misdemeanors and Clinton was not convicted and removed from office. The impeachment was sufficient that a federal NY judge held Clinton in contempt of court, the Supreme Court revoked his credentials to argue before the high court, and the Arkansas bar suspended his license to practice law in Arkansas. None of that had any impact on his ability to rake in many millions of dollars giving speeches and in other activities.

But now, if we were to impeach Obama and/or Hillary, it would be on their record but there is unlikely to be any consequences that would matter to them. They cannot be removed from office because they are not in office. And the impeachment process and, if that was successful, the subsequent trial would just increase the toxic political environment that already exists.

And Impeachment could remove their government retirement pensions...

There needs to be a price for breaking the law, and so far, both Obama and Hillary have only profited.

Here is another interesting exchange:

I know what crimes the wingnuts say Hillary committed, but I'm curious as to what charges they want against Obama other than Presidenting While Democrat.

AlbqOwl said:
Here is possibly one:

The nonpartisan investigative arm of Congress, the Government Accountability Office (GAO), confirmed this week that the president broke a “clear and unambiguous” law when he swapped the high-level terrorists for Bowe Bergdahl, an Army sergeant who went AWOL in Afghanistan in 2009. According to rules issued by the White House Office of Management and Budget (OMB), the violation is serious and can carry severe consequences. They include fines, imprisonment, administrative discipline, suspension from duty without pay or removal from office, the rules specifically state …

…Congress must be notified before acts of this magnitude are committed and the president completely disregarded the legislative branch. In fact the Department of Defense (DOD) failed to notify Congress at least 30 days in advance of the exchange, a flagrant violation of the law, and misused nearly $1 million of a wartime account to make the transfer, the GAO report says. The DOD used appropriated funds to carry out the transfer when no money was available for that purpose, congressional investigators found. This means the DOD violated a measure known as the Antideficiency Act, which prohibits federal agencies from incurring obligations exceeding an amount available in appropriation.

The apparent violation of the Antideficiency Act, by the way, carries potential criminal penalties. I think it worth quoting the GAO’s summary of the penalties for violating the law:

Federal employees who violate the Antideficiency Act are subject to two types of sanctions: administrative and penal. Employees may be subject to appropriate administrative discipline including, when circumstances warrant, suspension from duty without pay or removal from office. In addition, employees may also be subject to fines, imprisonment, or both.

http://www.debatepolitics.com/redir...9446537CEE679109D9309446537CEE67910&FORM=VIRE

In addition to Bergdahl, this article outlines four additional which, while probably the Congress would not see as quite rising to the level of high crimes and misdemeanors, were illegal in the minds of those of us who think there is a limit on what a President should be able to do on his own with immunity:
http://townhall.com/columnists/john...which-obama-deserves-to-be-impeached-n1848801

So, while it might seem that this forum refuses to acknowlege Obama in terms of Felon, there really are other places where his law breaking is being noticed.

...
The Sick Woman is out of office and needs no impeachment or special prosecutor. Any old US attorney can have her arrested and criminal proceedings can begin, just like any other crook. The same is 100% true of Hussein Obama.

Impeachment/Removal is not a legal proceeding. It has no criminal or civil sanctions (beyond unemployment) attached. Impeacment and removal is a political action, just like passing a statute except there is no veto option on either impeachment or removal.
...

If this is ALL it takes, then why haven't they been brought up on charges?

You can make the claim impeachment is not needed, but as a point of practicality, until you do the seemingly un-needed (but possible! ) step of the Congressional Impeachment, nothing is going to happen.

Without the Congressional Stamp of approval, No one is going to charge either Hillary or Obama!

So, DO IT! Grant the approval for the Indictment, by Impeaching them, as needless as it may seem (to some)...

That's the point the author of the article quoted in the OP was making!

It is pretty clear to me, that politically, if not legally, the Impeachment is required for the ex-President who broke the law to end up in Prison... which is the needed accountability outcome!

-
