Gotta say - I was a pretty casual fan of Cornell. I liked the Soundgarden hits, and some of the Audioslave & stuff like that. Since he passed, I've been listening to a lot of his material on youtube, and I'm just blown away. IMMENSE talent. Clearly, one of the best singers - but also a really good interpretive artist, really adept at making covers his own.
Sadder today than I was when I heard the news. There really isn't THAT much talent left in the music industry, and we've lost a lot of good ones over the past couple of years.

Me exactly. I knew of him and liked the hits but I never appreciated his vocal talents till his acoustic clips started showing up in my feed.
