Off the grid

I vote that my tax funds be spent on the poor, so I am willing to make personal sacrifices to help the poor. That money from my check every other week. It's personal.

You live in a mansion on a hill. You're part of the royal court, not a commoner, not a gardener, not a maid, not even a laborer ... more like a paper shuffling bureaucrat.

Unwilling to give unless forced to by the gov't. Unwilling to make personal sacrifices, and abandon your jetset lifestyle to live like a commoner ... so you can give to the poor. Typical Hollywood type lib. You are a fraud.

I wear blue jeans to the office three days a week, I don't own wing tip shoes, I do my own typing and have no secretary, nearly half my clients are either Asian or Hispanic, I drive a 16 year old Ford F150, I don't belong to any clubs, I don't take my clients out to eat.....I'm still a lawyer......

Clearly not a good one.

Micawber, like most bleeding hearts, thinks the government taking from the other guy to fund what he supports is the same thing as if he took it out of his own pocket and handed it to the one in need. Compassion is a willful act by the giver not a mandate from the taker. For him to think compassion can come from agreeing it's OK for the government to take what you've earned to support social welfare programs he would also have to think it that if he opposed it, they wouldn't take it.

It hurts to say something nice about you, but lawyers like you are generally the best lawyers.

My Jeep is only 11 years old, I wear blue jeans to the office as often as I can (shorts in summer), I have a pair of wing tips, I do my own typing, I do have a secretary/office manager and about half my clients are black, 90% are poor. I don't belong to any clubs and rarely take my clients out to eat, sometimes we meet at the burger joint to go over something.

So...he's not a lawyer and neither are you.

No one is taking anything from you, racist...
You are too poor.
