Are the Righties on this board as ignorant of the issues with NAFTA as trump is?

Do any of you realize that this will cripple the Heartland, and Big Agra? The only up side, is that Monsanto will come apart at the seams. We destroyed Mexico's corn industry via NAFTA. The bright Red middle of the country loves it.

This should be interesting. I'm guessing trump will ultimately declare 'this is hard'.

so what your saying is that nafta is perfect and there is no room to improve upon it by renegotiation?

I would be interested in hearing how we destroyed Mexico's corn industry......are you sure it wasn't because we stopped subsidizing ethanol?......and since when did liberals start supporting Big Ag?.....is Monsanto now your friend?......

We flooded Canada with our subsidized milk. We flood Mexico with subsidized corn. I'm all in favor of ending subsidies to the Heartland. Anything that cuts corn production in this country is ultimately a good thing.

To your question....no trade deal is perfect. trump has not been specific with respect to what he wants to change. I'm sure he wants all U.S companies to manufacture autos here.

No doubt, in 'right to work' states.
Watch what happens to the price of building materials now that trump imposed an import tax on Canadian pulp.

sure.....just like anything that cuts down US manufacturing, or US service industry, or US tech research.....in fact, anything at all that might result in an American getting a job should be stopped immediately.......(public service announcement from your local liberal)..........
