If someone (Comey) is orchestrating the release of the leaks...

It appears to me a skilled political operative is orchestrating the current leaks...

The release of information to the WashingtonPost is clearly timed to have the most impact. Releasing bombshells in increasing intensity on a daily basis, just in time for the evening news. The largest just prior to the President leaving for an overseas trip designed to start a reset.

Here is the point... If this is true and its being orchestrated, there are bigger bombshells to come... Like the night before Rump returns home.

wow, what a stunning political analysis by Jarod. I am floored by it.

What is shocking to me is that the actual leaking isn't what bothers Jarod. As long as it is damaging Trump, the longer term repercussions matter little to him. He is childlike thinking this is happening in a vacuum.

I will say that leaking is like the filibuster. The only side that is ever in favor of it is the side that is benefitting at the time. Maybe Jarod doesn't recognize that?

yep. the leaking is an abomination. It's destroying the POTUS ability to set foreign policy-
it's anti-Constitutional as well as illegal
 
If Comey is orchestrating the leaks (it is his government-owned property that is being leaked, after all), that makes Comey a felon.

What is funny is that I always here that Comey isn't a political operative. Well, he wouldn't have lasted in DC as long as he has without being an operative. But it obviously shows the naked partisanship of the anti trumpers that they aren't asking why Comey is giving that memo to associates.

Let's say for the sake of argument that Comey was trying to build a case against Trump, couldn't how he did it be seen as entrapment?

Also, wouldn't his memo be considered evidence? If it was, then wouldn't he be complicit in mishandling evidence in an ongoing investigation.

Again, I realize that people like BACasshole, GayRod and Deshtard are blinded by their Trump hatred

I am all for leaking in the interest of justice. There is no good reason, no national security reason, this memo should be classified.

Forget the hacks, Comey himself is in deep trouble. Who did he give his notes to? Who is the "Comey associate" the NYT is claiming read the memo over the phone? Names are certain to come out.

Leaking classified information is a felony.
 
What Mark Felt did during Watergate is honorable.

I am not upset about the leaking of HRC's campaign emails except that they were stolen, though they did not tell us anything important, they clearly did not deserve classified status.

Sounds like we need an congressional investigation.

Liberals aren't seeing the downside to this. It isn't like the next democrat in the WH will be immune from leaks and leakers. Granted, the next democrat will have the media running interference for them, but it will still leave its mark.

What goes around comes around.
