Most of my friends make between 60 K and 500K, I guess the demo is upper middle class. Of those between 60 and 200, 90% democrat, of those 200-500 annual, reverse.

I don't know the politics of many very wealthy. The true jet set, but of the couple I do know with actual Lear Jets, given that they are plaintiff attorneys, probably democrats, unless they are total hypocrites and just vote their wallets while pretending to stand for the little guy.

Well first of all I would never buy property in Commiefornia. And I wouldn't call what I own a vacation hideyhole, although to me it is paradise.


With regards to how 7 billion people live? Most in this world live without running water and modern amenities/ sanitation you have come to take for granted. With regards to this Republican ideal you speak of, I am not sure where you are hearing it. The modern day Republican Party is indistinguishable from the democrat party in my view.

I don't think anyone is advocating that every individual live off the grid. However, I would say that too many people have become dependent on modern day life and would not know how to survive if something calamitous happened like a take down of our electrical grid. Could you survive? I know I could. I would have the basics covered. Heat, shelter and food.

I wear blue jeans to the office three days a week, I don't own wing tip shoes, I do my own typing and have no secretary, nearly half my clients are either Asian or Hispanic, I drive a 16 year old Ford F150, I don't belong to any clubs, I don't take my clients out to eat.....I'm still a lawyer......

It hurts to say something nice about you, but lawyers like you are generally the best lawyers.

My Jeep is only 11 years old, I wear blue jeans to the office as often as I can (shorts in summer), I have a pair of wing tips, I do my own typing, I do have a secretary/office manager and about half my clients are black, 90% are poor. I don't belong to any clubs and rarely take my clients out to eat, sometimes we meet at the burger joint to go over something.
