Clapper, Yates, Russiagate, Yada Yada

Republicans should make a bigger effort to hijack the hearings.

I'm sure that's the reason Susan Rice won't participate. But one Republican Senator asked Sally Yates who appointed her to the Supreme Court since she took it upon herself to not enforce the travel ban.

If they would do more stuff like that they can beat the democrats at their cynical little game.
Yep

they're playing on Democratic turf. Unfortunately they have Russiaphobia too..
Rice doesn't want to interfere with the narrative either of course

They could have pressed on the leaks, but that only goes so far up against sexy Russian collusion.
The Dems want yet more investigations..but it will play itself out.

Be concerned about Trump getting stuff done, and all this will be in the rear view mirror soon enough

the only vested interest I have in her is seething hatred for the destruction of Libya. I want her to rot in hell for that, because that cost untold lives, and a destruction of a nation

Assange called her the "Butcher of Libya" the other day after she insulted Wiki by calling it "Russian Wikileaks" :)

I also despise her big donor driven campaign, secretive wall st speeches that paid her $100k's
and her generalized identity politics exclusionary bullshit.

When did you care about Libya or the Libyan people before OBAMA destroyed it?

Did you also care about Iraq and the Iraqi people before Bush destroyed it? I didn't see you denigrating his Secretary of State on a daily basis.

Any idea how many politicians get paid large dollars to speak to Wall Street .. yet you single out Hillary Clinton while you vote for Trump's identity politics.

I thought you declared Russiagate dead just a couple of days ago.

I guess you were seriously premature because it isn't close to being dead.

Pentagon joins intensifying probe into Donald Trump's ousted national security adviser

I'm thinking .. maybe if you guys all open up the windows and start shouting 'end the investigations' .. maybe that will make it all go away .. but I doubt it.

If there is nothing to hide, why are you so upset about investigations?

you don't recall Rumbleville or what was it..PG?
I was ALWAYS against Iraq -the Yellow ribbon crowd made me physically sick to think of them drenched in blood.

That doesn't mean I bought into the "blood for oil"meme - It was damn obvious Rumsfeld and company were using 9-11 as cover to invade Iraq. surerly you recall this?

as to Libya I do confess to being under-informed other then the standard Pan Am 103 stuff..
I just never decided to go further there.

I've told you many times good brother, I appreciate the eye opener on Libya-
that coupled with my studies on terrorism post Iraq war has been very important in getting a worldview.

Obama was swayed by Clinton. recall the Gates "she was the 51st % deciding voice"

Hillary Clinton,‘Smart Power’ and a Dictator’s Fall

The president was wary.
The secretary of state was
persuasive
. But the ouster
of Col. Muammar el-Qaddafi
left Libya a failed state
and a terrorist haven

People really misinterpret what "blood for oil" means. It doesn't mean we go to war to take Iraq's oil.

It means that we aggressively try to control that region as much as we can - and have for decades. If there was no oil in the Middle East, we never would have gone near Iraq.

I can agree with that.
the ME is strategically important as the center of the worlds crossings-
but oil is what makes it such valuable property

wasn't it because they disagreed on strategy?....now that we know Obama was wrong, why is Flynn the screwball?.....

On April 30, 2014, Flynn announced his retirement effective later that year, about a year earlier than he had been scheduled to leave his position. He was reportedly effectively forced out of the DIA after clashing with superiors over his allegedly chaotic management style and vision for the agency.[SUP][24][/SUP][SUP][25][/SUP][SUP][26][/SUP][SUP][27][/SUP] In a private e-mail that was leaked online, Colin Powell said that he had heard in the DIA (apparently from later DIA director Vincent R. Stewart) that Flynn got fired because he was "abusive with staff, didn't listen, worked against policy, bad management, etc."[SUP][26][/SUP] According to The New York Times, Flynn exhibited a loose relationship with facts, leading his subordinates to refer to Flynn's repeated dubious assertions as "Flynn facts".[SUP][28][/SUP]

or.....
Taking the podium, Flynn, dark-haired with an aquiline face and a surfer’s wiry build, waved to his many family members in the crowd. He acknowledged the many senior officials in attendance, including his nemeses, Clapper and Vickers. He also made special note of retired General Stanley McChrystal, with whom Flynn had transformed the U.S. Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) into history’s most lethal terrorist hunting network. “If there is any one individual in this country who changed the way America fights its wars, it was Stan,” Flynn told the capacity crowd. Of course, everyone there knew that McChrystal, too, had been ousted from his job, after an article in Rolling Stone titled “Runaway General” quoted unnamed members of his staff making disrespectful comments about the White House. Inside military and intelligence circles it was understood that McChrystal, along with another ousted former general, David Petraeus, were the preeminent generals and wartime field commanders of their generation of officers, and the manner of their dismissal struck many as insulting. As did the treatment of Lt. Gen. Mike Flynn.

You really are this confused aren't you ^^^
you speak like a third grader trying to gather his thoughts "as" he speaks.
What's the rush? you're on a forum, relax take your time and think before you type and hit send, you sound like a babbling lunatic.

And on topic
There is no Trump / Russia collusion, do you not think that we would have heard about it before now, not one ioda of evidence with al of the energy being wasted on the left to dig dig dig.
and NOTHING.

Let the witch hunt continue

One has to wonder if Flynn was known to be such a security risk with Russia why didn't Obama have his security clearance revoked immediately.

Like everything else Obama, he had no clue what he was doing, and the media covered for him constantly or he would have been ran out of Washington year 2. Or certainly after he allowed Iraq to fall back into chaos after we gave so much sacrifice to stabilize it.
Obama is laying low for good reason, he is hoping we basically forget about him, and maybe best.

the Russian connections and this un-American base who find everything Russian so beautiful and admirable will kill the republican party

you non stop defend and praise a Russian dictator who hates America

how the fuck do you think that is going to play out in real America IDIOTS

Relax, take your time, and then take your fingers out of your ears. You can ignore the claim that the dumb baby Trump made claims about Russian funding during a golf outing, because he denies it now. Even though we know it to be true.

A. There is strong evidence that Trump’s businesses have received significant funding from Russian investors. Most notably, Trump’s son Donald Trump Jr. made that very claim at a real estate conference in New York in 2008, saying “Russians make up a pretty disproportionate cross-section of a lot of our assets.” Donald Trump Jr. added, “we see a lot of money pouring in from Russia.”
Trump also made millions when he agreed to bring the Miss Universe pageant to Moscow in 2013, a deal financed in part by the development company of a Russian billionaire Aras Agalarov. Agalarov is a Putin ally who is sometimes called the “Trump of Russia” because of his tendency to put his own name on his buildings. At the time, Trump mingled with the Russian business elite at a swanky after-party. “Almost all of the oligarchs were in the room,” Trump bragged on returning home.

As a sign of the importance of Russian investors, partners of one of Trump’s projects then under construction in Panama visited Moscow to sell condos at the building in 2006.
Trump also made significant money from one Russian oligarch in 2008, when he sold a mansion in Palm Beach for $95 million to Russian billionaire Dmitry Rybolovlev. Trump had bought the home at a bankruptcy auction less than four years earlier for $41.4 million.

Educate yourself re. the differences between the level of security clearances between DIA, and any WH position.
