Disappointed in French elections : (

no it's not "case closed". I voted for quite a few at the governors level and Congress
( do i need to look them up?) I've always been an advocate for 3rd party -at one time you were also.

Trump is a rich businessman, but he ran as a populist -NOT a plutocrat, and most definately NOT a statist like Hillary.
I realize he's probably going to get eaten by the Swamp ( establishment) but he at least is devolving
excess federal powers back to federalism by rolling back Obama regs..which is a welcome 180

so we'll see

I asked because I've voted for a politician with no government experience as a protest vote .. knowing that Jill Stein would never win.

I didn't have to look that up.

I don't care what Trump claims he ran as .. he's a plutocrat.

Not that hard to know that.

well i've voted for quite a few over the years in my desire to kill the duopoloy.
I'm not going to discuss Trump w/you..it's not going to be productive -but I will agree it's damn near impossible not to get eaten up by Swamp Monsters..we'll see

It's not a lack of political experience that caused me to be adverse to voting for Rump

I don't care who he votes for but Jarod is a Democrat and he's going to vote for the Democratic candidate. He doesn't need to try and offer some intellectual argument for being a partisan.

There is indeed an intellectual argument for being a partisan .. even if you don't want to hear it.

It's simple .. the other side does not represent your principles, views, or issues.

That is particularly true in American politics today.

Case in point .. Why would black people ever vote republican today?

Why? Because they feel for all the support they give to democrats they don't feel they get what they deserve in return. Because they see democrats aligning themselves with the teachers unions and not the best interests of their children. Because they see local progressives not willing to build housing to protect well to do whites and want that to change. There are a number of reasons why black folk could vote Republican.

Jarod was going to vote for the Democratic candidate regardless of who it was so there's no need to pretend he was opening thinking about not.

There are absolutely ZERO reasons for blacks to vote for the party of racists .. and no, they don't see the world as you do.

Voting is not about your perceptions, it's about what that particular voter sees.

Did you vote for Obama? Obviously the reasons that you didn't are your own.

I just explained why Jarod or anybody else wouldn't vote for the other side .. and that includes you.

My point was a simple one. Jarod wasn't going to vote for a republican. There's no need to pretend he was considering it

The french had a chance to break the glass cieling and instead voted for a rich white businessman with no government experience.

#imwithher

That's what the US did too, voted for a rich white businessman with no government experience?!!
