Ordinary people can't run a government. This isn't 1787 .. and the Framers were wise enough to know that they couldn't speak for America hundreds of years into the future. It's a living document.

If you choose to vote for people with no experience in government, that's your choice brother.

well, I can't share your very low opinion of ourselves by believing that there are people better educated, smarter, more proficient, and overall superior beings to me that only they can run government. I feel sorry for you over that.

when a majority of people like you accepted that only experienced people can run the government, which allowed for the obvious cronyism and corruption rampant in both parties. congrats.

It is not a living document. That is why Jefferson assumed that the future would bring subsequent constitutional conventions - to put a permanent end to the one that Madison and Co. authored. Consider that the convention in 1787 was purposed to amend the Articles of Confederation. The present constitution authorizes conventions to assemble for the purpose of amending. But it is not a living document, and we are well passed the time in which Jefferson guessed that the Constitution would be scrapped.

i always thought living document meant you had a process to change it. When necessary you go thru that process. Instead of just interpreting it however the hell you want every so often.

no it's not "case closed". I voted for quite a few at the governors level and Congress
( do i need to look them up?) I've always been an advocate for 3rd party -at one time you were also.

Trump is a rich businessman,but he ran as a populist -NOT a plutocrat, and most definately NOT a statist like Hillary.
I realize he's probably going to get eaten by the Swamp ( establishment) but he at least is devolving
excess federal powers back to federalism by rolling back Obama regs..which is a welcome 180

so we'll see
