Ex-Bernie Staffer Sounds Off on New Hillary PAC: ‘This Is Nothing But a Money-Grab’

Earlier this week, it was reported that former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton was getting ready to launch a new political group. The political action committee — set to be called Onward Together in a play on her ‘Stronger Together’ campaign slogan — will “fund organizations working on the resistance to President Donald Trump’s agenda.”

Well, one person who used to work for Clinton’s Democratic primary opponent thinks this is all about the cash for the former Secretary of State.

Appearing on Fox News today, ex-Bernie Sanders staffer Tezlyn Figaro took issue with the one-time First Lady stating that she was part of the Resistance.

“The only thing that Hillary Clinton is resisting is the ability to sit down :)refusing to sit down,” she said. “This is nothing but a money-grab to continue to get donors to donate money to a PAC that’s ineffective.”

She went on to note that voters delivered a message in both 2008 and last year that they’re ready to move on from Clinton.

“They have simply regifted an old gift that no one wanted at Christmas and decided to put a new bow on it,” Figaro stated.

Besides the reports of Clinton’s upcoming PAC, she’s also been in the news lately over an interview she gave earlier this week where she placed much of the blame for her election loss on FBI Director James Comey and Russian interference.

NN reports the organization, which has been named Onward Together, will help give anti-Trump groups access to funding sources. Clinton will act as “the connector” between the leftist groups and big-money donors. One source told CNN the staff will be small.

Despite Clinton’s high profile and ability to raise massive funds, top conservatives on social media don’t seem too concerned.

“I heard #HillaryClinton is forming a #RESISTANCE PAC. The electorate already resisted her entire candidacy in 2008 & 2016 #bye,” wrote CNN political commentator Paris Dennard.

It's really weird to me how democrats are so reluctant to drop their losers. When Romney lost, most conservatives and republicans dropped him like a hot potato. They said "hey we held our nose and voted for you, but you blew it, now fuck off"

Same thing with mccain.

Democrats on the other hand? They love their losers. They are a party of masochism and they love the feeling of failure. It gets them off. The part of oppressed losers.

I wonder if she's finally beginning to irk those that supported her as much as she does everybody else. It's bad enough dims nominated a relic from the '90's but a relic with so many negatives ???? At what point do they move on?

It's like ground hog day......every day......having to hear both of their horrible voices continuing to drone on ad infinitum.....guess we have to keep hitting the mute button for the next 8 years. Maybe she needs to be smokin' what he's been smokin'. On the other hand, maybe she already is because she always seems spaced out.

Hillary did start the new PAC. She did the talkshow circuit last week. It's pretty obvious she likes to handle donations. Am I being delusional? I am not a Trumpkin, but not a fan of Hillary to begin with. I guess I am pretty biased to see fault with Hillary, but the reasons above seem like facts. Does Hillary not like being in a position to collect donations? If so, I see what they mean about tireless devotion to the cause!

Hillary is a private citizen .. she gets to do whatever she wants .. including starting a Pac, including calling herself part of the resistance. It's entirely up to democrats on whether they donate to her Pac or accept her as part of the resistance.

I just find right-wing obsession with Hillary to be quite humorous and completely delusional in the face of electing a clown with seriously underwater approval ratings.

As I said, I guess they have to have something to talk about.

You are correct she is a private citizen but the reality remains she and Bill are still at the top of the Democratic power structure and there is talk of Chelsea possibly running for office so Hillary is not just your average private citizen.

The Clintons are not at the top of the democratic power structure .. and of course they want their daughter to follow in their footsteps .. doesn't mean that she will.

Clintonism is being soundly rejected by a great many democrats, and neither will be accepted as part of the resistance.

They may not be your average private citizens, but then again, nobody with notoriety and a lot of money are your average private citizens.
