Who gives a flying f--- about France.....socialist France that is

So what you're saying is that Le Pen had a decent opponent which made the difference in their election. I agree.
I don't know. For all I know the choice of Le Pen vs Marcon could have been as laughably bad as the two jackasses we had to choose from.

I'm just pointing out that good ole Don here calling Marcon a socialist was a typically ignorant thing for him to say.

Socialist? Have you been breaking cinder blocks with your head again you jackbooted skinhead? Macron is a center right banker and by US Standards would be a mainstream Republican.

You extremist say funny things.
Le Pen is more Left than Macron.

He served in Hollande's Socialist government which was pretty left in its policies until they started driving the rich out of France.

Mott, when have you ever not had two jackasses to choose from?

So is the vote in France.

Not really. brexit was something unique. Far right parties losing in france is not really unique. What IS unique is how nearly 40% of the country is voting far right. It's going to take some more redpilling but muslims can't help themselves. They'll keep fucking france up. It's only a matter of time.

Actually what I found interesting, was Macron's speech in front of the Louvre particularly the tune played as he made his entrance. Normally you would hear the "La Marseillaise" which is the French National Anthem but he made his entrance with "Ode to Joy" which is of course the EU National Anthem. Deduce what you will from that, but surely even the French are not that naive, it should tell them who he truly serves. And in all honesty I do not think it is France.

France may be a lost cause.

I'm always more interested in what Britain is doing than in what is happening on the Continent, so, Brexit had more meaning for me than the French elections. The Continent already showed its aversion to change in the Dutch elections.

Macron won't do us any favours, he is a massive believer in the EU even though he is an Anglophile and speaks perfect English.
