So you seriously think the Americans and British were going to bomb Jerusalem, Tel Aviv and Jaffa? The Arab armies would have had a free rein to perform genocide, the most the Allies would have done was provide ships to evacuate women and children.

What in God's name are you going on about now? I was specifically talking about the situation, which could easily have come to pass, where the Arab armies won and swept down on the Jews. They would have shown no mercy butchering all in their wake. You won't acknowledge that and vainly try to deflect instead.

So what did the Jews do? They gave the remaining Arabs citizenship, when they could equally as well have exacted revenge and booted them out or worse. Is that the act of fascists, because if it is then there are most benevolent fascists ever. It is also incredible how the Left used to eulogise Israel, especially the kibbutzim, but then they have always had an endless capacity to rewrite history.

As you know, the Arabs were much weaker, but if they had succeeded and gone in for massacre, which I doubt totally, they would have been stopped at once, as you very well know - stop posing. The Zionists drove out as many people as they dared, as you also know perfectly well. I was going to live in 'Israel' at one time, but found out the reality. You'd do better to find out some facts yourself instead of this half-witted yank posturing. Yes well you blather on all you like but if you go back to 1947 and the words of Azzam Pasha, Secretary General of the Arab League he thought differently. He is quoted as saying: "This will be a war of extermination and momentous massacre which will be spoken of like the Mongolian massacre and the Crusades".

Make of that what you will but that sounds clear enough to me at least. Pasha was held in high regard by Ben Gurion, who considered him the most honest and humane among Arab leaders, yet here he is calling for the Final Solution to be concluded.
