Hamas has presented a new political charter accepting the 1967 borders for the formation of a Palestinian state without recognizing Israel. It comes two days before Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas is to meet with President Donald Trump in Washington.
Hamas leader Khaled Meshal made the announcement in a press conference in Doha Monday. “Hamas advocates the liberation of all of Palestine but is ready to support the state on 1967 borders without recognising Israel or ceding any rights,” he said.

Hamas “considers the establishment of a fully sovereign and independent Palestinian state, with Jerusalem as its capital along the lines of 4 June 1967, with the return of the refugees and the displaced to their homes from which they were expelled, to be a formula of national consensus,” the document states.

According to Wiki, only 32 UN countries do not recognise Israel and of those 19 are in the Arab League.
