No, it's actually because you live in a rightwing bubble, a world of relentless Reich Wing propaganda.

Apparently unbeknownst to you, the ACLU has always defended freedom of speech and freedom of religion for everybody.

We must admit however, that this concept of fierce integrity to one's core principles, is a foreign concept to Trumptards. Which perhaps partly explains your shock and surprise.

again they only defend her when the speech is cancelled and the issue is over. They get to have their cake and eat it too. Speech is cancelled and they get to say they defended coulter. If they truly wanted to protect her speech rights they would have done so in the weeks before it was cancelled.

Notice the pattern of the ACLU. If the free speech is harmful to Republicans like if its a KKK march or Neo nazi thing the ACLU will happily defend it and make sure the event happens. If the speech is potentially beneficial like a talk by Shapiro, Milo, Coulter, or someone else they will be silent until after the fact.

Im sad so many people are blind.

Actually the Berzerkers denying free speech is a first from my standpoint, eventually more Americans will come to see that democraps are destroying our country and our constitution and the margin of GOP victory in 2020 will be greater. Berkeley is now burning books, and believing that they are doing the right thing, moral Americans are not going to stand for this at the polls
