President Rivlin at Holocaust Day Ceremony: Not Every Criticism of Israel Equals anti-Semitism


Rivlin said in his remarks that not every criticism of Israel constitutes anti-Semitism. The president rejected the approach according to which "the justification for the existence of the State of Israel is the prevention of the next Holocaust," and "every threat to Israel is a threat to survival, every Israel-hating leader is Hitler."

Well, well- that's thoroughly bad news for every racist and Islamophobic bigot who associates criticism of Israeli fascism with ' antisemitism'.

Rivlin says some reasonable sounding things, but he is a one stater. He's just not an expulsionist and pursues a conciliatory line as part of a strategy to mollify the Palestinians while they're under occupation. Netanyahu and Bennet just believe in bombing them into submission. I'm pretty sure there are a lot of expulsionists in Bennets camp who just keep their mouths shut because the last big expulsionist party got banned.
