Wasn't ISIS defeated 70 days ago?

A few years ago I read 'ISIS: Inside the Army of Terror' by Michael Weiss and Hassan Hassan, the story is so complex you'd need a road map. The Bush Cheney invasion of Iraq was the major factor in the creation of ISIS or ISIL or Daesh or ??? Republicans fail to acknowledge that as they have found most Americans are too busy and their dog whistle BS blaming Pres Obama works with their base.

The al-queda I am talking about, the one that orchestrated 9-11 no longer exists. The current Al-Queda is a new organization.

AQ does not hold territory.
they prefer to operate on the edges -knowing it's almost impossible to hold territory- look at ISIS..

ISIS wants to bring upon the Apocalypse now. Part of that revelation is the return of the Caliphate
Hence the full religious name of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, = Caliph Ibrahim al Baghdadi..

They do not get along in that sense, but they will operate together without killing each other.
Their religious philosophy/goals are different.

ISIS did in fact grow out of AQI (al-qaeda in Iraq) -Baghdadi was part of the Muslim Brother hood,but was part of the radicalized Salfi Jihadists.

Zarkawi was head of AQI - he professed to want to establish an Islamic State-dissolving AQI.
Zarkawi was killed by the Americans..

Long story short the Sharia Committee appointed him as successor to (some guy) and he was elected emir

they do still exist. One of the founders -the Egyptian Zawahiri- is still pledged to by AQ worldwide.
But the "affiliates" worldwide ( like AQAP in Yemen) are more powerful ( think of AQ Core as the Mothership)

They captured most of their territory in a couple of blitzkrieg like operations in like a month a couple years back. Until then they flew under the radar as part of the Syrian opposition (I still remember the maps on wikipedia all of the sudden turning huge swaths of Syria from FSA green to ISIS black - yeah, that didn't really happen, they had always been there). Of course none of you hear gave a shit about that or even paid attention to it until they started making HD videos of them beheading white people. That was entirely the reason they did that, btw. Rightists are so easily baited, the terrorist have been playing western rigthists like a fiddle for decades. Every single move has been at their behest and according to their plan, you're just mindless beasts that go where you will without thought.
