Drumpf's fan boys seem particularly obsessed with parsing out whether German Jews were actually Germans, and the nexus between the military and gassing civilians.

Did Hitler use his military for aerial delivery of chemical weapons? No. Not to my knowledge He used his military to impound Jews in ghettos, ship them to "Holocaust centers" as Spicer called them, and then he used the military go gas Jews, including German Jews, in gas chambers.

The way Drumpf's fanbosy are parsing this and playing word games is preposterous and ridiculous. The correct, and the ethical thing to do, is to apologize for being so freaking insensitive to the survivors and legacy of the Holocaust without word games and parsing.

This is our country. For whatever it's worth. With all it's flaws and all it's freedoms, it's ours. These left wing ass holes are now claiming it's theirs.

The number of Jews who managed to emigrate out of the country prior to 1939 numbered a little over 300k. Over 200k remained in the country, many of whom were forcefully emigrated to internment camps in and out of Germany, including Poland and the Baltic states. They were all killed by gas.

I'd like to point out also that Jews are Jews first, and members of a nation state second.

Incorrect. Japan's goals in the 1930's, leading up to the war, were to become a world power and to gain resources unavailable to them on an island. Like oil and rubber. Prior to that, they were isolationists. Like Russia, they wanted to expand their terrorities to get these resources. Like China. Far beyond China's involvement in the Spratly and Paracel islands.

A more reasonable comparison could involve Russia today (and Germany in the 1930's) and their invasions of other countries than to those islands.

It isn't just those islands, Laos and Myanmar are becoming little more than client states to the Chinese. I would also suggest that the Chinese relationship with countries in Africa have many of the attributes of colonialism.

Where do the figures come from? I knew one or two Jewish camp survivors from Germany, but I hadn't imagined it was so many. The ones we tend to hear about here came from elsewhere, and I'd like to know how many 'submarine' Jews survived in the Reich itself. Registering was the great mistake, I think.

I am a native american. And so is everybody else who was born here of legal parents/ guardians.
