You can pretty much assume that Bowl Cut has internal troubles. Though NK is the mother of closed societies so it's difficult to know the extent of it.

But the regime is as brutal as any. Little Bowl Cut recently had his brother or whatever killed because he perceived him to be a threat.

Yea, & he murdered his uncle & he is still there, the generals are still forced to clap continuously in his presence etc etc etc.....

Other than speculation & wishful thinking we really have nothing supporting his imminent end.....

You only have family members taken out if you're clinically paranoid and/or paranoid for good reason. I'll go out on a limb and say it's a combination of both with the little murderous twerp.

And without a doubt he's killed and/or brutalized countless North Koreans just during his short reign. You make countless enemies that way.

There's no good reason to assume his government is stable.

I do not disagree he has very good reasons to fear, as do his victims~that does not mean he won't live till a ripe old age like stalin, his dad & grandPappy..

There are about 30,000 American troops there, several thousands more in Japan & millions of Koreans that are w/in range...

I don't think there is a reasonable US military solution unless China is part of that deal~diplomatically & militarily....

Any actions by the USA are seen as attacks/invasion etc while the Chinese may be able to sell liberation to the brain washed NKoreans??:dunno:

I'm not sure we'd see much if anything given the closed nature of NK.

But China cutting off NK coal imports is going to hurt them. The whole point in sanctions and/or economic pressure is to affect political change.

We can pray someone in his own country takes him out on account of it. It would be the absolute best case scenario.

Stopping coal exports and cutting off oil imports would destroy NK very quickly, it's a shame that the Chinese are only doing that just now.

That would of course be the best for everyone, except the Un.....

The coal put pressure on the ppl, him & his generals not so much...

I would really like to see China do more, much more to pressure him personally..

I would guess they would love to see him gone, but they are afraid........ You notice in all his propaganda picts that the clapping generals are unarmed??

They grew up w/ his dad, & now have to kiss this kids ass?? I dunno if China can or is willing to pull the rug from under him or something softer like Gorbachev did??

How bad will the refugee crisis be?? The population is around 25 mill, & most aren't going to leave & many will want to go south, if allowed..

No not in the past but then NK wasn't close to building viable ICBMs either. Anyway it was that long ago that there was mass starvation there, including many reports of people eating grass and human flesh being sold by the roadside.
