If the US has the air defenses of N.Korea targeted already with reliable intel.....the navy could take out the majority of N. Korean Air defenses in hours....while the US has the bomber group in the air....protected by the best fighter pilots in the world. The air bases in Japan are not that far from the Korean Peninsula.

There are huge numbers of artillery aimed at Seoul, it has been estimated that at least 500,000 rounds could be fired in an hour causing many casualties. Apparently Bill Clinton considered a preemptive strike on North Korea in 1994 but backed off because he deemed it to be too risky.

If you are going to take out the ability of this nation to do damage to their neighbors.....there must be quick and total destruction of their ability to use any type of nuclear weapons.
