Trump spent the first 50 years of his life as a NYC democrat. He's an opportunist like Bloomberg who thought he saw an opening. Sure there are people like PMP who would vote for Bernie Sanders and his agenda if he had a R next to his name and would claim I'm a democrat for opposing it. But trump is what he is. I have no way of verifying if your claim is true, and even if it were it is irrelevant. I was a Republican until around 1990, that has nothing to do with who I am today.

Now that adds a whole other layer of irony. trump was pretty vocal about Obama signaling the date that we'd pull out of Iraq, as being incompetent. 'Showing your hand' was supposed to be something that trump would never do. As it turns out, his refusal to be specific about his plans for the Mid East during the election...citing the aforementioned showing of his hand....was nothing more than an excuse to buy time because he had no plan.

I don't remember anyone saying trump is a war monger. We did say that his foreign policy is going to be determined by his portfolio. $4 gas will certainly be a boon to his bottom line, and we're on our way now.

I am horrified how this question is not given a second thought in the media.

I have only heard two politicians point out that it is their job to look at the evidence and decide to attack or not - Tulsi Gabbard and Rand Paul. My respect for those two went way, way up as a result.
