As White Men Flee, Trump's Approval Rating Dips Again

Things aren't looking up for President Donald Trump, a man long obsessed with ratings of any sort. His approval rating took another dip this week.

Just 34 percent of the country approved of the job Trump is doing, down from 44.1 percent in March, according to the latest survey this week from Investor's Business Daily/TechnoMetrica Market Intelligence (IBD/TIPP). The president's approval rating remained well underwater, with 56 percent of the respondents disapproving of his job performance.

Some key supporters have begun to migrate away from Trump, notably Republicans, independents and white men. Trump's approval among Republicans dropped to just 74 percent, a 14-percentage-point tumble from last month, according to IBD/TIPP. His approval among independents fell 11 percentage points to 29 percent. Among white men, one of Trump's strongest demographic bases, his approval rating fell from 58 percent to 49 percent.

A Quinnipiac poll released this week found similar results to those of the IBD/TIPP survey. It found that overall, just 35 percent of voters approved of Trump's job performance. The poll also noted that a majority of men and a plurality of white voters disapproved of the president.

'cause we don't riot, vandalize, loot, burn, attempt to shut down free speech with vulgarities blared through loud speakers, advocate breaking the law, roll around the ground spewing venom appearing in need of an exorcism when we don't get our way, think it's OK to stay home from school or work for a while until we're through with our panic attacks over not having our candidate win, withdraw from civilized society while retreating into a locked room with crayons and stuffed animals, write letters to large chain grocery stores demanding they place a plastic cover over any rag mag in the check-out isle displaying a picture of a U.S. President and we're not in favor of destroying the Constitution in order to placate ideologies.

It appears we've won the executive, judicial and legislative elections...policies are forthcoming. Don't worry, like I've said before the pendulum will swing back to Dems next time. It's been that way for long time. The only difference is that when it does, life will go on and I won't be looking for Kleenex or going out filled with rage destroying property.

Considering most Preisdents do big things at the start of their presidency's you'll have to excuse my "impatience". And considering the Republicans could lose the House we're not exactly looking at a long window

There are 50 million plus people who vote for Democrats in Presidential elections and 50 million plus people who vote for Republicans. There are rich, poor, smart, dumb etc. in both groups.

My support of free markets and free people hasn't changed.
