Immunity

logic dictates if he had any major stuff on trump, trump could have pardoned him himself and removed all leverage from 3rd parties and ensured loyalty
Deep, derp post of the month. You always seem to get in over your head on any political issue outside of executing first graders and shooting teenagers dangerously armed with skittles.

So Trump should pardon Hillary and then Congress can call her to testify and she can't refuse. :good4u:

It could happen, but she does not need a pardon, she is not even being investigated.

As Rump said, it was fun to say "that" about her during the campaign, but the campaign is over now.

Got a cite for that?

Looked it up, through the contempt, is that your point? And given they have a pardon, are you saying that pleading the 5th is no longer valid? I find this to be an interesting quirk in the law. Not sure if you are accurate.

Once you are not in legal jeopardy, you do not have a right to plead the fifth. In my cases, once a person is not in legal jeopardy, they are compelled to testify in a civil case.

the trump and team have no idea how our government runs

even their lawyers seem incapable of understanding the system

It's not that they don't understand it, it's just that they're trying to game it.

And hopefully failing.

They don't understand it, AND are trying to GAME it, a dangerous mix for them. The only saving grace is that they have a very powerful political party behind them and they have a un-retractable base that does not care what they do.

True, but Trump's lawyer Cohen is no slouch. If there's a legal trick to be found to cover Trump's ass, he'll ferret it out.
