The former Obama administration official who admitted earlier this month that her former colleagues tried to secretly gather intelligence on President Trump’s team was no low-level staffer.

Evelyn Farkas was once considered the most senior policy officer for Russia within the Pentagon, and she is now apparently defending the leaks that have been coming out of the Trump White House

And there you have it, Obama administration was spying on the Trump team.

Can we get an amen,
this should be the story of the day, plastered all over main stream media.
but I opine it won't.

Wait and watch how the left spins this one

: ( trump needs to pardon obama. Our first black president cannot end up behind bars like a common thug.

"Evelyn Farkas, former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense, admitted to taking part in the intelligence gathering on Trump's alleged ties to Russia during an on-air with MSNBC host Mika Brzezinski."

............."meaning we no longer have access to that intelligence,” Farkas said."

Amazing how she incriminates herself all over the place..

Evelyn Farkas, former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense, admitted to taking part in the intelligence gathering on Trump's alleged ties to Russia during an on-air with MSNBC host Mika Brzezinski.

“I was urging my former colleagues, and frankly speaking the people on the Hill, it was more actually aimed at telling the Hill people, get as much information as you can, get as much intelligence as you can, before President Obama leaves the administration. Because I had a fear that somehow that information would disappear with the senior people [from the Obama Administration] who left, so it would be hidden away in the bureaucracy...that the Trump folks – if they found out how we knew what we knew about their...the Trump staff dealing with Russians – that they would try to compromise those sources and methods, meaning we no longer have access to that intelligence,” Farkas said.
ipso facto politicization of the IC.

and that ties in EXACTLY with the NYTimes article https://www.nytimes.com/2017/03/01/us/politics/obama-trump-russia-election-hacking.html?_r=1

They're too busy having a moment over Trump's poll numbers lol.

I can tell you the spin---if they ever show up on this thread: people in the Obama administration were afraid Trumps people would bury the intelligence. Problem is, that doesn't make it any less a felony.

And it especially doesn't dismiss the prospect that they had nothing---because there's nothing to be had but some people talking to Russians.

As I've been saying, there's only one known crime that been committed amidst all the Russian hysteria---and it was committed against people associated with Trump's campaign or Trump himself.

When you watch these idiots ask "why Trump doesn't protect us against Russian tampering in elections", you realize that they really are the dumbest fools on the planet. The Russian tampering was done while OBAMA was President you morons.

By the way, Evelyn needs to be placed on the stand under oath. These statements are criminal.

Of course, in FAKE media land, the bigger story is the farcical narrative that Hillary lost due to collusion between Trump and the Russians because...... wait for it...... Trump made a joke about it.

Yes, Liberals really are the dumbest most repugnant assholes on the planet.

"widely disseminating low level information" is an abuse of the IC -it;s a political decision

I can only imagine how outraged you must be at the idea of a high level American govt official possibly having taken steps to expose the illegal collusion of a Presidential candidate with Russia.

Obviously you'd have been much happier if the Trumpskyites had been allowed to get away with it, and the public had been kept in the dark.

You must be taking the Xanax three times a day now.
