Do the people of Republican occupied states have a right to rebellion?

Do people in places like North Carolina, which is not effectively a democracy and is a fascist dictatorship, much like the federal government right now, have a right to rebel against the government, occupy their state capitol, and restore democracy in their state? Or should they patter along and continue with the absurdity of working within a rigged system?

But then; they also have the right to be arrested, charged, and if found quilty, too be fined and/or incarcerated.
