I always said Trump was the third worst person running for president behind 1. hrc and 2. Cruz . Does that qualify me as a 'Trumpkin'?
As far as hating military personnel, I don't. I just don't worship them. They happen to have a gubmint job that's almost impossible to get fired from . I've worked side by side with military health care providers and overall I don't have much respect for them. Some I do, for one or two I have great respect , and for some I have less than zero respect . But overall, not much.

Shut the fuck up. His veteran status has nothing to do with anything here. He's a terrible senator and a war monger of the highest order. Being a vet doesn't make you special.

I wouldn't know, since I don't care about Trump or most of his supporters. Being a veteran doesnt make you immune from criticisms, especially about things that have no bearing on their prior military service.

To condense it, he's the antithesis of a Gerald Ford who I thought was one of our better presidents, or Bob Dole. Nothing spectacular but rock solid and steady.
Cruz is as much of a screwball teabagger as Sarah and Jim DeMint. "My way or the highway". No compromise which is why govt. is a joke nowadays.
In fact, most 'successful' pols nationally I consider screwballs.
