McCain is a war hero and has more courage in his pinkie than this entire board put together.

And yeah - I was saying the same thing when he was running against Obama. I just disagreed w/ him, but he is a great American.

Terrible thread.

Remember when the right was all about standing up for the military & honesty?

Nothing more than nostalgia now. Trump is taking you guys way down the rabbit hole.

He didn't take us to war in Iraq (or mishandle it).

Iraq is so yesterday lol.

Democrats mishandled Iraq and they own Libya, which led the humanitarian crisis which may well be the downfall of Europe.

Even though the mayor of London thinks we should just get used to radical Muslims killing people.

"Trump achieved a majority in the electoral college but fell three million short in the popular vote. The nationalist ideology that drove his campaign belongs as yet to a minority. Even so, Trump in his first ten days has already broken through the restraint of familiar constitutional checks and limitations: the duty to abide by the result of elections no matter how they turn out, and the right of religious toleration." https://www.lrb.co.uk/v39/n04/david-bromwich/act-one-scene-one

"This disposition to admire, and almost to worship , the rich and powerful, and to despise, or, at least neglect persons of poor and mean conditions...is...the great and most universal cause of the corruption of our moral sentiments." Adam Smith

"Giving every man a vote has no more made men wise and free than Christianity has made them good." H. L. Mencken
