I'm not even going to draw a conclusion with what I'm going to say. I'll just put it out there.
My grand parents were German missionaries from 1900 -1910. They and many, many others went to the continent of Africa for years bringing food, clothing, medicine, etc.
The U.S. and other countries all through the developed world have brought and sent money, food, clothing, medicine, opened schools, built hospitals, constructed wells all through the 20th century and up to this very day. These goods and services have been provided by governments, mega concerts, telethons and various religious organizations. Mercy Ships go over with doctors. The desire to help has gone on for more than a century.
The only countries there that progressed at all were ones that had a heavy "connection" with mainly the English or French. (Someone correct me if I'm wrong, please)
So, 110 years after my grand parents were there, they're still dealing with starvation, medical epidemics, crime, dictators, voodoo, pirates and chaos.
Now what?
Germany Portugal Netherlands and Belgium also exploited the fuck out of Africa, not only England and France. But please do continue with your white man's burden rant...
