But for the sake of argument let's say somebody discovers that one or more Trump people from the campaign, e.g. Steve Bannnon, was found out to have contact with a KGB type and Bannon said, "Please hack into the DNC, Hillary and Podesta's emails to expose their blatant racism and anti-Bernie stuff they don't want the public to see and give it to WikiLeaks to publicize it in the hope it helps Trump win".
So what the fuck? Then what?

There is just nothing the Left likes more than a conspiracy theory. This is just one more to add to the hundreds of previous theories. I wonder if you buy into the one about the HIV virus being developed in a laboratory to wipe out black men. Our erstwhile resident black gay activist named Poet loved that theory.

The signs are already there. Notice the 'where's there's smoke' rhetoric---that's a tacit concession to lack of actual evidence. Now some of them are admitting it. And the term for searching for evidence when there is none---is 'witch hunt'.

It was always a long shot anyway. Think about it: Trump and his campaign were busy crafting an effective electorate strategy before the election. Why would you risk involving Putin when whatever he could do would be of minimal help? As if Putin would actually get Trump on the phone and ask if he wanted his help lol.

And what's Putin's motivation? He was getting everything he wanted under Obama/Hillary. Trump? He's the unpredictable wildcard. If Putin had his fingers on the scale for Trump, he's already screwed himself because Trump is going to deregulate the energy sector which will be bad economic news for Russia.

It never made any sense. Once their conspiracy theory finally plays out, democrats and their media puppets should be made to wallow in it.

Keep in mind, they alone would have known about their ace in the hole, which was of course, the hacked emails and Wikileaks. Most Americans didn't know about that or at least the extent of it at the time.

Plus, it probably didn't cost them a huge amount of money, so why not roll the dice? A lot of the Trumpsuckers here who attempt to ridicule the idea of Russia deliberately influencing the outcome in favor of Trump, try to float the notion that in order for the theory to be true, Russia would have had to know for certain they could produce a Trump win. But that is not the case at all. Just because they tried and succeeded, does not mean they had a guarantee or knew it was in the bag.

They were probably almost as surprised as everyone else.
