Unfortunately in this country, rural, uneducated, simple-minded, low-forehead hillbillies, morons, country bumpkins and blue collar dumbfuck cement heads like you, your parents, your family, your so-called "friends", your neighbors, associates and acquaintances etc, etc, etc.... have the same right to vote (Republican) as intelligent, educated, rational and coherent people (Democrats) do.
If the system were repaired to work in such a way as to benefit the entire country and every citizen, rural, blue collar red state slobs like you, with low IQ's and no education beyond high school (approximately 90 - 95% of you) would be allowed to vote, but your vote would only count for half of what the votes of people like us who deserve a full vote would count for.

Single payer health care never had a snowball's chance in hell of passing in the Senate with the narrow majority the Dems had. Pursuing it would've been a complete and utter waste of time, effort and political capital.

Please explain to us all what good it would have done the American people, for Obama and the Dems to have stood on principle and pursued a goal that had ZERO chance of success, as opposed to setting an achievable goal, hoping it would get some cooperation from the Ratpukers and maybe building on it and improving upon it over time.
