Yeah, that makes some sense and with PiMPles history of unbridled ignorance (e.g., reignited the 1/3 debate taking up Dixie's legendarily stupid position) I think his mistake is pretty obvious.

an issue becomes moot when a court no longer needs to decide the issue......that is what has occurred here now that a new order has replaced the contested one......there is no need to determine the enforcability of an order which has been replaced......
 
That does fit. So it's 65,878 to 1.

But there still may be some questions on the religious discrimination issue thanks to Trump/Guiliani shooting their stupid mouths off and the fact that there was/is no intelligence support for the order. I don't think that their rhetoric alone will carry a case against the EO to success with the S Ct, but there might be some conclusion on how much consideration it deserves..

You do have a point.

Trump should have known to allow Business Visas and medical emergency visa.

Instead he should have used his perfectly legal authority to halt all immigration based on the economic situation in the U.S. citing 20 trillion in debt and a flat GDP.

The talking heads this morning are saying this is no different from his first EO, but I guess we should defer to JPPs constitutional expert
