What changed in the new order:

Iraq removed from list of countries on the travel ban

Applies only to non-visa holders (anyone with a valid or multi-entry visa is exempt from the new order)

Will not go into effect until March 16 to avoid chaos

Exceptions for religious minorities removed

Anyone remember when I said the exception for Religious minorities made it a violation of the 1st and 14th Amendments?

Remember DAMO? Remember when you said it was SO SIMPLE and that I did not understand Constitutional Law?
Funny, I wonder why the President agreed to change it? Looks like I know more about Constitutional Law than the White House did!

Do you like seeing religious minorities murdered by Muslims in those countries?

it's basically intact -and exempting Iraq because of all the friendly dupes we had there

Very funny, all the parts I complained about have been removed.

I still don't think its good policy, but at least now its Constitutional.

tell the 9th that with it's bullshit rulings on executive immigration purview

how does that change anything? It still targets muslim majority countries and by the logic used in the 9th circuit arguments would still be unconstitutional.

what were you correct about.....

Did you predict Iraq would not be on the travel ban ?
Visa-holders were always exempt but those implementing the ban screwed up, so no change there.
and there were never 'exceptions' for religious minorities', they were to get preference, not exceptions....

IDK about that. There is no intelligence support for this and there is still a good argument that it is motivated by a desire to enact a "Muslim ban."

It's definitely more sound and the courts might let him pass on his campaign rhetoric now that he has come to heel.

Why is it okay if they are murdering other Muslims? Why not support being open to all refugees?

Are you even a Christian (see sig)?

The argument would be if were only going to take 100 or *insert amount here* it would be the 100 most at risk which would be the people of different religion.

changing the text eliminates the argument. It is not a concession you were right.....it just makes you moot....

Nope, you misunderstand. The fact that they are Muslim majority is coincidental. Most Muslim majority countries are not included.

I guess we will find out just how wrong you are...again.
