Oh please, not only were the earliest life forms soft bodied, but the conditions for preservation and formation of fossils was nearly non-existent. Any rock containing fossils was melted. The shortage of earliest fossils does not contradict the chronological ordering of less evolved to more evolved.
 
Further evidence for evolution is the existence of "convergence", ... the independent development of similar or nearly identical traits.

I've said it at least three times.....rhinos did not evolve from beetles......never been a fucking issue......the fucking issue is that you think beetles and rhinos and man evolved from algae and you refuse to talk about it.....get your head out of your ass.....

I am sensing an X file, how a shock and a smell get into a sperm reduces everything that we think we know about DNA to dust. DNA is recording real time info, just like a tape recorder...............

Darwin did not suggest that insects evolved into non insect species. It's not inherent in what I believe as you DID claim. It is nothing but a creationist strawman.

You still don't get the difference between metamorphosis and evolution. Show us you do. Explain the difference and then explain the evolution of the butterfly. I have explained it to you several times (even recently), so you should be able to do it.

Explain to us the difference between metamorphosis and evolution. Explain to us what is believed to be the evolution of the butterfly, i.e., it's nearest relatives and/or possible ancestors.

The latter part isn't really true.

There is no less evolved to more evolved progression, though homind evolution seems to be an exception---if intelligence is taken into account. In fact, I'm not even sure 'more evolved' is a scientific term---it seems more a subjective judgement.

Less complex to more complex is probably a better way to phrase it.

But what does the record show? Complexity from top to bottom and from beginning to end. Organisms in the Cambrian were as complex---or at least very nearly as complex, as they are today. Today, a virus is less complex than a bacterium, but today doesn't count. And no one suggests that viruses evolved into bacteria.
