What's the correlation between those two situations?
Women talking trash (for lack of a better word) about each other. (BAC said many women are calling Malania a whore.)

Of course I expect dishonesty and hypocrisy from the left.If you were opposed, then obviously you are aware of all the hate thrown Mrs. Obama's way.
If you were opposed, good for you, you have a right to protest.
That being said, given that you are aware, suggesting that democrats shouldn't fire back in kind is just your opinion. You should have expected it.
Women are brutal on each other. I gave the example last week of the girls on my team not wanting to hire a woman we interviewed because she was good looking. Chritiefan and rana came at me hard over that but I don't see them speaking out here. That's why I don't buy this whole womanhood bond thing and think women will stab each other in the back in the workplace and elsewhere.

Women do indeed have a bond. If you deny that, go look at the Women's March. Go to a breast cancer rally, walkathon, or fundraiser.
That being said, I agree that they can also be brutal with each other .. as can we all. That's true regardless of age, race, religion, nationality, and gender.
I had to go back and reread that thread and you didn't say the women talked trash about the prospective hiree. What you said was "Two guys on my team said they felt that was why the girls on our team rejected her. I wasn't privy to the conversations so I can't definitely say one way or the other." IOW the guys didn't hear it, they felt it.
Then you said "The little I heard they felt she was kind of fake and didn't come across as authentic."
I'm not seeing trash talk along the generally-accepted lines.
Let's be honest, if they rejected her because of her looks they weren't going to outright say so. Same thing if you don't hire someone because of their age or race etc. No one wants to come right out and say that so you state some professional sounding reason.
Then it's supposition. How can anybody really prove this one way or another?
I think it's a little different with race or age discrimination. Did anybody ever file a case claiming they didn't get the job because they were too beautiful? Beauty is a subjective term.
Christiefan, from a feminist perspective it was Jarod said appropriate when he said Melania doesn't meet the definition of a whore? If there is true women's liberation wouldn't that entail men not giving negative connotations to what ever women choose to do with their body sexually?
The women's march was a liberal political march, it wasn't a woman's bond as evident of the pro-life women being asked/told they couldn't attend.
I'm losing the gist of thread here, lol. Jarod said Melania doesn't meet the definition of a whore and that's a bad thing?
I know precious little about Melania other than what's been in the news. We know she lied about her education and possibly her green card (or lack of one) when she started to work in the US. Maybe she married trump for his money, maybe not. The only thing that's clear, at least to me, is that she's uncomfortable being First Lady and is basically phoning it in. And I also think the trumpists are working hard to cover for her, the question is why.
It was a march against Trump and nearly all the pro-life women support Trump. It bonded together lots like-minded women.
Point is, millions of women marched all over the world for a cause .. something I don't believe that millions of men all over the world would do.
But by definition what you are saying about Melania is sexist. However you argue it's fair game because it's within the battle of politics. So people who were against Hillary weren't sexist they were just playing rough and tumble politics.
I guess I go back to where is the line drawn because sexism in 'the real world' vs. sexism in politics?
But men will network like crazy to advance their business careers. Do women marching do anything for them?
Marching does a lot for women .. else, why would they do it.
You think that business networking isn't going on during those gatherings of massive numbers of women? Think again.
With regards to women in business .. women are catching up after being locked out by invisible ceilings and boys only clubs for hundreds of years.
The key for the advancement of women is not to be men, but to advance themselves as women who bring different qualities to the table.
Were they marching to not be labeled whores? I still don't get how Hillary can call other people sexist while it's cool for her supporters to be sexist as long as we are politically aligned.
