It's more about the cost of ownership. Guns (ones worth owning anyways) aren't particularly cheap if you're impoverished. A Glock is a $600-ish purchase, and even decent budget models like a Canik Tp9 are $350-ish.

the more people with guns the better. If liberals start liking guns too this is great news for gun rights. If liberals are terrified of more trumps in the future and want to protect gun rights, they'll only be agreeing with what pro-gun owners have been saying for 200+ years. Because when the 2nd Amendment was written Blacks were considered 3/4 of a person. They couldn't legally own guns.
So we marched and marched with our blood, sweat and tears to be considered a full person, and racist white men hated that.
They kept guns away from Blacks for decades......that's why whites own more guns than Blacks.
To this day, racist white men don't want Blacks to own guns, hence all the "gun laws" on the books.
