Trump: ‘Nobody knew that health care could be so complicated’

It's not necessary to re-invent the wheel.

The U.S. per capita health care expenditure is far from the lowest on Earth.

And yet our life expectancy does not correspond to the excess we pay for healthcare.

It should be, if we pay more, we should get more. WE DON'T.

Obama tried to fix that.

Due to Republican obstructionism, Obama wasn't as successful as he wanted.

But Trump is a babe in the woods on this.

I guess that means Trump thinks Obama is nobody, because Obama knows as well as anyone how complicated it is.

The ACA was a classic case of government picking the winners and losers.

The poor and those with preexisting conditions were the winners. And as is practically always the case the middle class got screwed with exorbitant deductibles.

Note the role reversal: now it's the middle class that are being in effect, 'deprived' of healthcare, because they can't afford the cost of an MRI or whatever.

The ACA is the result of trying to amend a for profit medical system, remove the "profit" and reforming ACA would be much easier, but it would ruin insurance companies.

Trump and the Dunning Kruger effect. He's not smart enough to know that he's just not that smart, so he thinks he's super smart and everyone else is just not up to his level.

Obama knew how complicated healthcare was and created a plan specifically designed to fail, as it has. Obama expected a dem replacement that would implement Socialism however.......................

I read the abstract years ago after my wife who is a neuroscience professor showed it to me. Great troll bait and sad commentary of the human condition. Trump is archetype for it. Dumb and oblivious yet confident.

The ACA is unworkable as it is, I think you know that very well. Whether Trump can fix it remains to be seen but he is the only game in town. All you buggers want to do is play it's my party and I'll cry if I want to!!
