I told a group of young men that America fears a Black man that is laser focused, highly intelligent and has full knowledge of self. But loves tattooed, pants sagging, basketball dunking, touchdown running, signing dancing Black men with no knowledge of self. And I ask them why is this?- Shawn G.
They equated power with money. I told them that it money that ruined our movement post 60's. People that have something to loose are less likely to be revolutionary. A good job, a home, kids in good schools, a saving account, etc.... A bunch of smart poor people with nothing to loose equals the Black Panther Party.
I went on to explain why most Hip Hop music targeted towards young people promotes nonsense like killing, drug use, dissing women and mad man lifestyles. Because young people with knowledge of self are very dangerous to America's interest. They learned this with the Black Panther Party whose leaders were in their late teens and early twenties.
I was explaining to my friend that one of the best weapons the white man has used to take out Black men has been Black women. By creating opportunities for Black women to obtain college degrees and earn more money then promoting the man should bring home the bacon theme of America while making sure 96% of management positions in America are held by white men created a since that Black men have no value even to many Black women. This hit home with me when a woman called me a pussy a#! nigga and I had to look around to see who she was talking to. This weapon has worked well to destroy what could be beautiful Black families. These are the things we must begin to understand to truly heal and uplift our people. I love my sisters but the devil is a liar and in war there are no rules.- Shawn G.
