If the health care system is FIXED in order to eliminate the government as a stepping stone to a one payer system...then in essence, OBAMA CARE will no longer be OBAMA CARE. Or does the left not even believe their own propaganda? The GOP now owns it. Its theirs to do with as the people who hired them demanded. And those people are not the paid rabble that is showing up at the local town hall meetings, the only ones that require attention are the ones that demanded the change away from government control....that actually voted for the change of venue.

What is the duty of all representatives? To carry out the wishes of the folks they represent....all the representatives need to do is listen to the people...not the opposition.

Correct me if I am mistaken....Boehner was made to step down because he folded like a cheap lawn chair in placating the loud mouthed lunatic left. Who is going to pay any attention except the same lunatic left whose ass Boehner constantly kissed? As evidenced by this thread.

It will basically be the same as what it has been, with a few cosmetic changes so they can claim they did something.

Fine with me. Then it goes away anyway. Then it'll be the pubs' fault it didn't pan out. Your team wins. Hmm. Obamacare sounds a lot like that kids' game 'hot potato'. Nobody wants it.
I'll just opt for medical cost sharing in the meantime. I'm rewarded for personal responsibility rather than penalized for it. Way less expensive.

Hardly....there will be no Penalties or Taxes that force individuals to purchase insurance from a government gestated monopoly that has seen the cost of insurance go through the roof for those who can least afford the artificial increase that is mandated by Big Brother in order to force the nation into a single payer system.

The VP explained exactly what the differences will be between Obama Care and Trump Care. Quote "...the nightmare is about to end." -- VP Pence. "...eliminating, its mandates, taxes and intrusions upon lives and businesses..." Trump care will be drastically reformed. Repeal and Replace....read the lips of the administration in power not the propaganda from the opposition. Simply watch the following at about the 10:30 mark......... Again who will the "real" people, (not bought and paid for fake protesters) believe, some propaganda from a person who was forced out of office because of his inability to keep his promises to these same voters....or to the actual people in power? Just watch the crowd and the ovations and any simple minded person can see the difference between real people and FAKE NEWS.

Johnson rolled out Medicare over 50 years ago, well before the internet, with very little fuss and it now covers over 55 million Americans. Get rid of the insurance companies and their profits and there would be enormous savings.

Medicare and Medicaid did their part to drive up the cost of healthcare. My dad's old physician was ready to retire when he did, because he was swamped with Medicare paperwork and regulations.
 
Well there is also an opportunity to stream line the bureaucracy as well.
