In electoral politics it's all about the middle. You're going to need them to win. The GOP won by expanding the base under Trump, not by doubling down on doctrinaire comservatism.

I was one of the uncountable (and uncounted) numbers attempting to attend the London demo here. We'd have done better to close the motor-ways with our cars. Bliar thought it was anti-American not to keep licking President Bush's backside into pristine condition, and to hell with democracy! Oddly, nobody ever pointed out that Bliar was being anti-British - not our style. People just said 'He must know more than we do'. He didn't, of course.

It's a mystery to me how colleges can charge so much for tuition when no other business model operates as if what they charge for their services doesn't matter.

He isn't playing for the other side, he is playing for his Democratic Republic and he doesn't like what President Bannon was trying to do. I was relieved at the appointment of McMasters he won't sell us out to the Russians the way Flynn and Bannon were trying to do. He won't desert our NATO allies.

Like I said, democrats have an unresolved issue in front of them. I guess they realize it lol. Maybe not. Republicans got their civil war out of the way with Trump.

They never take my advice, but Keith Ellison in not who they want as the face of their party. And if democrats give up on their moderates---well, we'll see how that plays out.

what i dont see from the left is the plan. Its obvious bannons strategy is to use populist nationalism to expand into working class and black votes. I dont see which particular group the left is targetting to give them the win in 2018.
