The MSM is falsely portraying President Trump as having alleged on Saturday that a “terror” attack had occurred the night before in Sweden. Take, for example, this NBC story headlined “Donald Trump Explains Sweden Terror Comment That Baffled a Nation.” In addition to the misleading headline, the story includes a video clip of President Trump making his remarks. The chyron at the bottom of the screen reads “President Trump appears to refer to a non-existent terror incident in Sweden.”

The only question is whether they lie on purpose or if they're just SO ANXIOUS to get Trump they get sloppy.
 
They do it on purpose. They know their dishonest base will believe any unsubstantiated State media propaganda lies and tout them as gospel..
 
As President Trump subsequently clarified in a tweet, he was referring to a segment on Tucker Carlson’s Fox News show in which filmmaker Ami Horowitz discussed the rape crisis in Sweden. But leave it to the MSM to cast President Trump’s statements in the most problematic light.

Note: NBC was not alone in falsely suggesting that President Trump had cited a “terror” attack in Sweden. Major media outlets in the US and abroad have made similar allegations, as here, here and here.

I know that Trump has you guys trained to re-write the way things happened - but that's not the way it happened. The 1st stories I saw were about Sweden reacting, and THEN about how nothing had really happened.

You see this same bullshit move over and over and over. Any time one of their scumbag heros and leaders develop a reputation for some underhanded behavior, they'll dig up some flimsy, half-assed reason to make the same claim about the opposition.

So maybe Dump needs to learn how to speak more clearly and how to articulate exactly what he means.

If he was talking about crime, he should've taken the effort to make that clear and not just expect everyone else to infer or interpret his meaning.

He is obviously a mentally lazy person.

And BTW, the Swedish govt pointed out that there were more murders last year here in the city of Orlando, where Dump was only an hour away from at the time of his comments, than in the entire country of Sweden.

So either way, Dump is still full of garbage.

Just what you'd expect out of a DUMP.

Nope, the State Media was immediately all over Trump's mention of Sweden. To even think they would give him a pass for even one moment is fantasy.

Trump very clearly stated: "You look at what’s happening in Germany, you look at what’s happening last night in Sweden. Sweden, who would believe this?”

He's CLEARLY referencing a specific event.

Spin it all you like, you'll only continue to embarrass yourself.
