Coup d'etat.

The President is attacking the legitatmacy of a co-equal branch of the Government. Questioning their authority and trying to de-legitimatize one of the few checks we have on his power.

That is can be the start of an attempt to overthrow the government by a president.

This from a guy who got wet dreams over President Phone & Pen?

To the extent that there is any, can you walk us through your thought process on this?

The courts don't have ultimate authority. In fact the framers wanted them to be the least powerful branch of government.

No, he did not disparage their power and he accepted their rulings without attacking them.

No doubt, Trump has 'disparaged' the rulings, verbally...lol
THAT is not attacking their legitimacy at all....it is disagreeing with their findings....

.....but by any measure, taking matters to the Supreme Court
is obviously not accepting a ruling on its face, until THEY make a ruling. THEN he must accept the rulings.

The Supreme Court has yet to hear anything concerning Trump....and dumped Obama 44 times.

in his world courts can write laws on their own :)

How so? They can prohibit the enforcement of laws, but they cant write laws.

How can they "prohibit enforcement"?

What is their enforcement mechanism. For example, let's say President Trump decides to say "FUCK YOU 9th Circuit, I am going ahead with my plans. Thanks for your opinion, but go fuck yourself"

If President Trump were to do that, what recourse would the 9th Circuit have? How could they stop him from executing his plans?

They can send the U.S. Marshall out to arrest people, likely not the President unless he has already been impeached and removed.

If the President were to disobey the Courts direct rule, he should be impeached. If the Presidents deputies were to disobey the Court they could be dragged in by the Marshall to face contempt charges.

Regardless of ability to enforce the law, they are the ones who decide the law, and if the President disobeys he is committing treason.

Look at R. v. W. for example, they ruled that anti-abortion laws are no longer valid... they prohibited enforcement of such laws... and BAM the laws were no longer enforced, because Americans respect the CONSTITUTION.

You are perverting the founders intention. No where in the US Constitution "as written" was the Judiciary given the power to "decide law". You will never find those words. They never intended it to be so.

And thanks for proving my point. They can't enforce shit. Impeachment is with Congress not the Courts. I humbly accept your concession. It is sad that I know more than a so called lawyer

You are conflating things for your own ends.

They didn't prohibit anything. They made a ruling. States have "CHOSEN" to accept it, but they aren't bound by anything. As I said, if a STATE CHOOSES to tell the Supreme Court to go fuck itself the Supreme Court is helpless. It can't do shit.

As I have pointed out, the US Constitution never, ever, ever entrusted the US Supreme Court with the powers to be the final arbiter of interpreting the Constitution. If you can find anything in any of the Articles, I would be happy to read it. As always with liberals, you have chosen to "interpret" the US Constitution to fit your world view and not in the manner which it was written or intended

1) and this is why you leftists get looked at as morons. there are MORE centrists and libertarians with MILITARY experience and guns than there are idiot redneck right wingers with their deer rifles and shotguns.

2) pull your head out of your ass and get an understanding of the oathkeepers and 3%ers.

3) hey asshole, do you REALLY think i'm going to follow directives from Trump?

1) You have ZERO proof to back up that statement.

2) oathkeepers schmoathkeepers. every one of you fucks are all just itching to go out and shoot "some-a them thar danged ol' lib'ruls"

3) absolutely. you would jump at the chance and happily use Chump's permission as an excuse.

Every last one of you r/w gun freaks fantasize daily about shooting someone. the darker the skin and more liberal the ideology, the better in your twisted minds.

"We serve as a force multiplier during a natural disaster or civil unrest. We have experienced protest from the [so called] Occupy Movement and, most recently, from the Zimmerman trial. This training makes us all more proficient MP soldier and helps us communicate more effectively with local law enforcement."

do you seriously believe that the federal government is going to strafe american citizens in an air force gunship?
I thought that it was supposed to be the reason why US citizens are tooled up big time. How many times have I heard the argument that it's needed to overthrow a corrupt government.

sorry.....a federal district court judge is not a co-equal to the president.......more like the co-equal of a health and human services flunkie for western half of the state of
Washington......
