Seriously? Nobody here is talking about Neil Gorsuch?

Noooooooobody can talk like Nancy Pelosi.

Speaking of "I"....did anyone notice the number of times in the inaugural address that Mr. Trump used the first person "I" as compared to Soetoro every time he addressed the nation? In his farewell speech Soetoro referred to himself 75 Times....in Mr. Trumps inaugural speech he referred to himself 3 times and used WE as in the American people:whoa: 45 times.

Narcissist: Someone in love with themselves.

What struck me (other than I am good with the choice) is that he is the first choice for SC, at least to my knowledge, who is younger than me at the time. I am officially getting old. Shut up Grind! ;)

oh man that's going to be an interesting day. I am already over the fact most athletes are younger than me. That was the first weird one.

I said it already, but he is qualified.

The best a Liberal could hope for from Trump. Trump could have done worse.

I am mostly disappointed that Trump did not step outside the Ivy League box and nominate someone who has a little more diversity of education, we need some S.Ct justices who did not go to Harvard or Yale.

He should be confirmed, the Democrats should not let the Republicans wrongs cause them to behave just as badly.

Maybe you should get involved in fostering some discussion, what do you think about him?

I'll take Chucky Schumer's word for it when this man went through the Senate 10 years ago with a 100% Yea...when appointed to the Federal Bench.

Heck I'll take the word of Barry Barrack Obama/Barry Soetoro, Joe Biden, John Kerry, Hillary Clinton, Leaky Leahy, Diane Feinstein, Richard Durbin, etc.,..... Who all voted Yes in the Senate Conformation of Gorshush. What's changed? The lunatic left's minds.....nothing else.

Everyone is threadbanning her, probably off to greener pastures

looks like the threadbanning feature served its purpose in the most eloquent way. A massive group protest that desh's behavior was unacceptable. With no calls of the mod team to ban or teach a lesson because they didn't want to hear desh, the collective of JPP basically put their foot down, and essentially banned her on their own. Desh at any time could have reached out or tried to a learn a lesson, but she was incapable of such. And thus, the threadban did it's job.

And yet, everyone misses her...

What changed is the way the Republicans behaved regarding Obama's appointment for this seat.

You mean after the left assassinated a federal judge and then attempted to do an 11th hour end run around the Power and Authority of the Senate to replace the murdered judge? Really? Lets see how their best laid plans work out. I notice the Senate is moving right along with all the appointments while the luantic left continues to dig their graves by being AWOL. Yea...that'll show'em. LMAO. You will take note that the only support the demwits in both houses of congress are getting is from the less than 25% snowflakes around the nation....the other 75% are watching every move they make as the mid terms are not that far removed. Priceless....looks like the end for the fringe communist party USA.

From June 2001 to January 2003, when the Senate was controlled by the Democrats, the most conservative appellate nominees were stalled in the Senate Judiciary Committee and never given hearings or committee votes.[SUP][10][/SUP] However, after the 2002 mid-term elections in which the Republicans regained control of the Senate by a 51-49 margin, these same nominees began to be moved through the now Republican-controlled Senate Judiciary Committee.[SUP][11][/SUP]
With no other way to block confirmation, the Senate Democrats started to filibuster judicial nominees. On February 12, 2003, Miguel Estrada, a nominee for the D.C. Circuit, became the first court of appeals nominee ever to be filibustered.[SUP][12][/SUP] Later, nine other conservative court of appeals nominees were also filibustered.

Elections have consequences.....its payback time.

That makes it right?

If it was right for Democrats, its gotta be right for Republicans....

Sen. Chuck Schumer said in July 2007 that no George W. Bush nominee to the Supreme Court should be approved, except in extraordinary circumstances, 19 months before a new president was set to be inaugurated.
