Tea party tactics or broad front?

FUCK THE POLICE

911 EVERY DAY
Should Democrats go the way of the Tea party, and start doing massive primary challenges of anyone who doesn't meet a purity test? Or should we pursue a broad front strategy, and build a coalition of all anti-Trump segments of society - socialists, liberals, libertarians, moderates, and conservatives?

id imagine the broad coalition strategy was tried during the election and failed. You even had mcmullin running as spoiler and weld attacking trump which in all likelyhood cost him MN.

democrats can't do what the tea party did. Democrats at their core love government, they would be cutting off their nose to spite their face. When tea partiers shut down government, that in of itself was a win.

Once the election and inauguration is in the past, trump will be normalized and it will just be a random tuesday to you folks. You virtue signalers are riddled with ADHD, you can't stay on message, you don't really have any principled backing beyond that you hate trump, and you will acclimate to that reality sooner or later. You wont be able to accomplish anything. You don't have the fortitude.

electorally the dems are picking like the worst possible time to do this. Success breeds success and failure more failure. 2018 is a high hurdle for the dem tea party.
