An essay on Trump's child level verbal skill

It grows by the day. Wait till services are cut, like freeze on hiring that will affect VA services, it has only just begun!

Trump also ordered that OPM recommend within 90 days a long-term plan to reduce the size of the federal government's workforce through attrition. "Once the plan was submitted, the hiring freeze would end," the memo said.

The memo stated, "As part of this freeze, no vacant positions existing at noon on January 22, 2017, may be filled and no new positions may be created, except in limited circumstances."

"This order does not include or apply to military personnel," the memo said, and "the head of any executive department or agency may exempt from the hiring freeze any positions that it deems necessary to meet national security or public safety responsibilities."

"In addition, the director of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) may grant exemptions from this freeze where those exemptions are otherwise necessary," the memo said.

the way trump speaks is actually designed for persuasion. You may want to ignore it but a lot of people have already analyzed it and can point it out to you.

Even terms like "low energy" , "crooked" , and "lyin" are carefully chosen.

"Trump’s public speech dwells more liberally in this Cro-Magnon substrate than one might expect—and for a lot of people it has the same narcotic effect that makes so many people find gorillas so cool. "

McWhorter.

So, you find the orange gorilla cool.

Shlump's lack of polished communication skills are a big part of what attracts conservatives to him.

He doesn't come across as an "educated city slicker college boy" and because of that, they don't feel inferior to or intimidated by him. They get the idea he's one of them... a plain spoken dumb ass.

Truman was seen as plain spoken.
It's not a matter of dumb ass but elitist huckster.

"Except as otherwise necessary" I could drive Schwarzenegger's hummer through that.

Yes, you nailed it. Your average cro-magnon tard has contempt for "book lernin' college boys and their high falutin prose. Hell, Bush-the-lesser turned intellectual exceptionalism into a vice. Trump maintains the tradition. They are a bunch of fucking philistines, and yes, these rubes will need to look that word up too. "Damn proud of it, college boy!"

What did Obama's oratory skill get us?

That's what makes it understandable to all.
BO imparted loads of information and never communicated a message.

"Run through the Flesch-Kincaid grade-level test, his text of responses score at the 4th-grade reading level. For Trump, that’s actually pretty advanced. All the other candidates rated higher, with Ted Cruz earning 9th-grade status. Ben Carson, Mike Huckabee, and Scott Walker scored at the 8th-grade level. John Kasich, the next-lowest after Trump, got a 5th-grade score." link supra.

4th graders know enough English to communicate that they crapped in their pants, not much more. Would you love him even more if he simply grunted and whimpered? Language is symbolic logic, and words have meaning and sentence structure has complexity in an attempt to image the complexity of our world. It isn't our fault you find merit in someone who either fails to apprehend the complexity of the modern world or can't express it. His linguistic limitation is not a virtue.

Check your economic indicators if you are a bottom line kind of guy, otherwise, for me the enjoyment was in listening to a thoughtful, intelligent speaker. An example I could provide are his thoughts on religion, and the lack of a shared reality in one memorable speech. It was not just interesting, it was profound. Sure Obama waxed on like a professor (because he was one), but if that is a failing it doesn't mean grunting and spouting three superlatives is something that portends of great accomplishment for the US.

Why do you guys love idiots? Reagan, Bush Jr, Trump... We like Rhodes scholars, Harvard Law school law review editors, and brainy peanut farmers.

As Reagan said 'so much of what they know is wrong'.

Obama was a master at eloquently shoveling it.

Trump thinks and speaks fast, likes to get to the point and move on. He goes rapid fire with the answers in pressers getting tons of questions answered in an hour.

Obama would "ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh", "ummmmmmmmmmmmmmm" and drone on and drift off topic. He even used to make a little fun of himself because he realized the press became annoyed at getting maybe only 4 questions answered in an hour-long presser.
He doesn't think. He just reacts, the way a cat reacts to a piece of string.

As long as he's 'persuading' people with an IQ of about 80
