Chicago is a jungle because of armed criminal blacks and unarmed everyone else thanks to democrat anti-gun policies. But it's still not a federal issue and trump should stay out of this.

jan 24 2017 President Trump on Tuesday evening threatened to send government officials to the Windy City if the Democratic mayor and city police cannot turn around the city's rocketing homicide rate.

"If Chicago doesn't fix the horrible "carnage" going on, 228 shootings in 2017 with 42 killings (up 24% from 2016), I will send in the Feds!" Trump tweeted around 9:30 p.m. EST Tuesday.

Gun-related violence in Chicago is outpacing the same period in 2016, which was one of the most deadly years for the city in recent history. From Jan. 1 through Monday, 37 people were killed and 250 people were shot, according to one survey

Living in fear due to an incompetent local government is a violation of civil rights. We have a long history of using federal power to enforce these rights and it is entirelly appropriate to do so. Trump said this crap was going to stop and he meant it.
 
He should sent in whoever is needed to disarm anybody that has possession of illegal arms.

There's no way to disarm people. This problem will always exist as long as a city has black people. As Bill O'reily says "We don't have a gun problem - we have a black people problem".

as I recall, you've been a huge 10th Amendment enthusiast and states 'rights' advocate, so what would make you think that the feds should go over the heads of the Illinois State legislature to handle Chicago crime?

I'm favoring FBI to investigate collusion between local gov't and organized crime.

Cops know how to combat crime, just have to let them do it.
