I guess you've never held a government job.
I worked in a job with the State of Florida for a few years. Same rules apply. We had basically the same restrictions with regards to our government issued office computers plus our private home computers, social media, etc. No big deal.

if the new administration is remaking goal -should not the agencies be remade ( priorities)?
Obama did the same thing -the difference is agencies now routinely use social media.
so it's apropos to get the message on the same page..It's temporary until new leadership of the agencies can set their goals
 
He put a muzzle on the EPA, though it wasn't specifically said, I think he wants to put a stop to the "man made global warming" propaganda while he puts an end to carbon tax/credits, stupid regulations and all that bullshit.

As far as the 3-5M illegal votes...at first I find that hard to swallow until I think that out of 130M votes...maybe. But to have him tell his press sec to bring up un-named studies showing as much as 14% of the votes to be illegal, that sounds ludicrous. This is one reason we need voter ID, if nothing else to remove this kind of debate. I voted for you Trump, you won, don't be a sore winner. If you think something was wonky about the election then appoint a special investigator, auditors, and just move on with the business at hand.

FYI: The EPA is under the control of the Executive Branch. As of right now...there is no leadership in place because the democrats in congress have projected that they will not be finished investigating and grilling the new EPA boss until well into next month, a brilliant plan...they assumed. President Trump was left (wink, wink) with one option. Lock the EPA down until such time as it can be directed by the lawful supervisor.

THE EPA can't engage in any outside communication as directed by the Executive Branch, its official doghandler, it can't direct any new regulations. The United States existed before the EPA was unleashed in 1970 and it will continue to exist for a few weeks. The EPA does not represent the people...no one that works there has been elected to office and this gag order does not apply to any state agency....the environment will continue to be protected at the state and local level, as each state has its own environmental agents. You go after the Donald....elections have consequences.

Besides a little selective dental work never hurt anyone.....all the Donald has done is order a two week long root canal on the EPA...I hope its painful as hell. It will come out of this thing with all its teeth in tact...but there will be a new sheriff in town.

Again: Elections have consequences. The executive branch controls the EPA....specifically the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs (OIRA)...which is under the Office of Management and Budget (OMB)...which answers directly to the white house. The EPA has been shut down and gagged because there is no executive branch appointed leadership at the agency....congress informed the President they would not be though grilling the new EPA boss until well into next month. The President's answer. LOCK IT DOWN until such time as its under lawful supervision.

There is no danger to the environment as each state has its own environmental agencies. There is no lock down of anything other than the agency in DC.

AGENCIES use as opposed to just anyone who may I r may not be knowledgeable or authorized. Normal as nitrogen to do this.

I knew about the EPA, but Don's post was not specific, he just said government employees and I do not believe it is as restrictive as he makes it. They can still post pictures and stuff. I don't think Don was dishonest, I think Rachel Maddow was.

I was looking for a blanket ban, not one agency.
