We pull people in and they are volunteers. They don’t know anything and then we send them out to have conversations with people, hard conversations. We promote them to chair of a party where they have power and they have no clue what they are doing. We have to, at the DNC, provide training. We have to teach them how to communicate, how to be sensitive and how to shut their mouths if they are white. So I think I made my point.

What truly boggles the mind is that there will be virtually no outrage about this, yet if this was reversed, the outrage would be enormous.

I bet no JPP liberal condemns this.

The Democrats don't seem to think they lost because of blue collar white voters, they think they lost due to poor minority turnout in the midwest and they might have a point there. For Brown to get this job she has to beat Keith Ellison so she had to go there.

They have convinced themselves that "demographics is destiny". They think whites are dying off, well more specifically whites that don't agree with them.

The left realized long ago that trying to convince many white people to accept more gobblement was futile so they decided to import their political base and have largely been successful.

Make no mistake with the election and reelection of Obama, the left truly believed they had ushered in an era of political dominance particularly at the Presidential level. They truly believed that the GOP would never win another Presidential election. That is why the 2016 results we're so shocking to them

The only thing saving the democrats in Presidential races is winner take all. Without winner take all Romney would have won in 2012 and Trump would have blown Clinton out in 2016. They don't seem to understand that importing their base is actually working against them because those "new arrivals" settle in large numbers in areas which are already likely to vote democrat.

Yesterday Limbaugh said the dems are now basically a regional party and I'm not even sure that's correct. They control a few large cities, that's all, I can't think of an entire region where the dems are dominant...maybe the pacific northwest?

it wasn't "poor" turnout... they are forgetting that the obama elections were an abnormality.

She is speaking to her base. There isn't a JPP liberal that has a problem with what she said. They are riddled with white guilt and will wax poetic about "white privilege" because they want to be seen as not racist. However not a one of them will do anything substantive about it

Ever onward and ever leftward they march lol.

You have to wonder if there's a point where even *reasonable* minorities will start to rebel against the idea whites need to STFU. Granted, many of the young ones, especially if they've attended a liberal college, are too far gone.

But there is such a thing as a minority working class that identifies as working class before race: their primary concerns are jobs and the economy so they are politically indistinguishable from the white working class.

And here's DNC being led by someone who thinks white people should STFU in the political arena. My guess is they'll do a face palm and vote for the republican.

Obama's first election had an usually high turnout but 2012, at least in Michigan, was average. I haven't checked Ohio or Pennsylvania but Trump only won Michigan by about 11,000 votes. Wayne County alone was down over 70,000 votes from 2012. Saginaw and Genesee were down too. Even though turnout in 2016 was slightly higher than average it was down in areas where Hillary was likely to win the large majority of the votes. Average turnout in those areas would have meant a Clinton victory in Michigan. That's why Brown played the race card.

Ah yes. The new DNC approach seems to be "white people are evil, minorities and self hating whites better vote for us to keep whitey in check!"

Run with that. And you will keep losing election after election.
