California schools face cuts because of rising pension costs

I don't know what to tell you but manage your finances better. You now have a contractual obligation to pay the folks who have earned these pensions what they have earned.
 
didn't matter for Detroit or any other city that went bankrupt......will it matter for a state that goes bankrupt?........just give the unions Hollywood and Rhodeo Drive and call it even.......

If it weren't for tax cuts we'd have enough revenue to pay for a whole lot of shit.

How about we stop sending money to red states and take care of our own.
 
I don't see why CA would have any money problems. Hollywierd and the dot com gazillianaires are more than willing to subsidize the rest of the state, aren't they?
Simply impose a retroactive surtax on them when more money is needed. No big deal.

Just cut education to illegals. That will save quite a lot. Kick their arses back to mejico and save even more.

California, after a series of massive tax increases is now seeing a $1.5 billion deficit with more to come. The cost of a massive increase to Medical thanks to Obamacare will continue driving CA into the red ink hole leftists are known for.

Once again, liberals are too stupid to comprehend that this is not a revenue problem, but a SPENDING problem.

Expect this story to become common place for ALL States who embraced Obamacare until the Republican Congress repeals this massive budget busting leftist progrom that does NOTHING to keep people healthy.
