Heroin greater killer than guns in 2015?

Discuss heroin then. Don't try to backdoor the bullshit about gun deaths in. It's so transparent.

It was used as a point of reference in the podcast. I'm sorry that is so offensive. I'll set up a safe space for you and Rana. Damn.

Thanks, my aren't you sensitive, lately, I don't think it is I who needs a safe space.

Not at all. I'm not a drug person. I don't do drugs and my friends don't do them either. To each his own what they choose to do it's just not my thing. So I've read here and there about the heroin problem (my wife's step brother in Texas has a big heroin problem) and I've heard some of the opiate problem but this podcast was an eye opener for me.

So why the crying over guns. It was a point of reference that was used, nothing else.

I am almost always for less regulation on individuals and more on corporations.

You should have to be licensed to use Heroin. One should have to go to mandatory safety training to use needles. Your license to carry heroin cannot be used across state lines. If you have more than a 10 clip needle dispenser on you it is illegal. If you shorten the hypodermic needle or in anyway modify to make it more efficient, jail time. Oh, and no loop holes. No buy heroin or needles at heroin shows. Carry on.

Total opioid deaths were in the 30,000 range. Heroin was about half that. Still, a lot and rising.

Was listening to a podcast on heroin and opiates this morning and it was stated heroin deaths outnumbered gun deaths in 2015. I hadn't heard that before and considering how much press gun deaths get we don't hear a lot about the heroin deaths.

Heroin epidemic has been in the news for two years now, even was highlighted in the Presidential campaigns

Maybe they should legalize Heroin.

Heroin does not kill people, people who take Heroin kill themselves.

^This is your brain on "MORON"; don't be one. :rofl2:
