Facts are facts... there are no "alternate facts"

"This was the largest audience to ever witness an inauguration -- period -- both in person and around the globe. "

Oh AUDIENCE ... not crowd. Well that's a yuuuuuge difference.

AUDIENCE would include TV and online viewers around the globe.

If you say so, he was talking about it in a paragraph discussing only crowd size.

There are more lies.

"We know that 420,000 people used the D.C. Metro public transit yesterday" - not according to the Metro Authority and witnesses.

We know that from the platform where the President was sworn in, to 4th Street, it holds about 250,000 people. From 4th Street to the media tent is about another 220,000. And from the media tent to the Washington Monument, another 250,000 people. All of this space was full when the President took the Oath of Office. - Not true

You posted the quote, not me.

Clearly, he said "audience" and "around the globe". Now you're going to deny that. :whoa:

Do you have a link from the metro authority with the actual numbers?

Witnesses were able to count the number of people? really?

What is your proof that this is "not true"?

KellyAnne Conway is a master propaganda master.

She said that the White House is simply presenting "Alternate facts" when confronted with the lies told by the White House last night about crowd size....

Think about that term, "alternate facts"??? Really?

I would not be concerned because I think the deception is so transparent, but it seems a sizable group of the public is dumb enough to fall for this shit.
Many whacks on here actually believe the "Alternate facts" out of such absolute devotion to Trump. When the people start believing what they know to be lies, we are in trouble. Its how we got into the Iraq war.

This post is rather ironic coming from a low information clown who posts fake news on this forum on a daily basis. :rofl2:

The crowd wasn't as big. Period.

But who cares? Aside from insecure tweety and his faux indignant press secretary. That was literally the most important thing to Trump on his 1st day in the most important position in the world.

So you have no evidence. Thanks :good4u:

Are you suggesting that there cannot be more than one possible solution to any problem with facts that are an alternative to one solution? Sure there can be any number of alternative facts....

Its clear what she was pointing out....the practice of the media of presenting half the facts in order to dilute the substance of what was just observed. That OTHER HALF...that was omitted from coverage....is indeed ALTERNATIVE FACTS not in evidence.

Priceless you are suggesting that she is lying about lying by the media. You are the perfect example of a presentation of the alternate facts. I just pointed out an alternate fact....that is directly opposed to your half assed truth. The only thing you repeated that was observed truth was the fact that she used the term 'alternate fact' the other 50% of your retort is pure unadulterated Bull Shit personal opinion, subjective to the power of 10. Now....disprove anything that I presented by presenting evidence that it was not truth.

So, he was talking about the "in-person" audience, you are being dense on purpose or are just plain stupid?

NO, I am suggesting facts are facts, and there cannot be "alternate facts". Solutions to problems are not facts.

When it is clear it was not the largest in person audience ever to witness an inauguration, it is a lie to say otherwise.

No, "audience ... around the globe" ... NOT crowd. Is English your second language?

All facts are indeed facts....but those facts that are never introduced are indeed ALTERNATE FACTS simply because they were never considered before forming a conclusion. Are you that dense or are you so used to puking out talking points that you no longer have the ability for critical independent thinking and reasoning?

A half truth is indeed the equal to a whole lie.

Facts are facts, there might be additional facts... but by the clear meaning of the English language there is no such thing as an alternate fact.
